I have brown hair with natural blonde highlights. I got the stupid idea to dye some of it (the only parts that got dyed were my long tendril bangs) blue, and it kept going through red and blonde and purple. Now parts of it are a pale red-pink colour. Which sucks because I hate pink. I still don't know what possessed me to do it... I decided to let it grow out again, and people are complaining about the one and a half inch roots of brown on my head. I'm complaining that my hair grows so slowly.

I noticed once during the summer when I had straight brown hair, that it had different colours in it when the light hit it. I remember it was like sedimentary, but not horizontal lines. It went brown, then red, then blonde, then red, then brown. It was cool, too bad it didn't stay that way.

I'm happy to report that I have very thick dark brown hair. I'm not going bald any time soon.

I have brown, but it's very dark. So dark, in fact, that it is very often assumed to be black.

This exactly, I don't see my thick, thick hair going anywhere anytime soon.

Thats too bad as Red is my favorite hair color (on women, not on me). I have brown hair, its real thick too. I dont think I'll ever be bald.
Same to both of those things :D

Although, I was born blonde, which faded to very ginger, to auburn, to brown, back to blonde, then back to brown.

All on it's own, I swear.

Started blond. Turned brown. And is now rapidly progressing towards bald. Thank (insert invisible man in sky's name) for Rogaine foam.

Auburn. Meaning reddish brown. Except i have distinct batches of red in my beard and side of my head, as well as distinct blonde patches in my beard.

it's weird.

Plain brown. Really wavy, if I don't do something about it after showering, may bangs may jet straight outward, to the sides, and back. Figure that one out.

For ethnical addition, I'm *clears throat* *deep breath* English, Irish, Welsh, Scottish, Romanian, French, Spanish.

That was from most prominent to least. Though somehow I have Romanian features, sort of.

Canadian raised.

I have red hair and I'm damn proud of it! I love having red hair since it stands out against all the blondes and browns.

I used to be a major towhead when I was younger. It changed to dirty blonde as I got older.

No one has a reason to be ashamed of it out of a college full of like 1000 people I have seen about 5 people with red hair (Me included I was looking in a mirror) it is unique!

Used to be pure white until I was about seven, now has darkened to gold-blonde/honey blonde, depending on the time of year. As I live in England, most people think it's light brown because there's never enough light. Most of my hair is gold, a few white hairs (actually, most of the bottom layer of hair, i.e under my bangs, is still white), a single black hair on my chin (all other facial hair is still white), and a bit of red red, but not a single brown hair at all. I love it, especially on a really bright day, and then I can blind people with the awesomeness of my hair.

I don't know what it's called in english, but my haircolour is best described as a hybrid between dark blond and light brown, which doesn't make any sense but still is.
Auburn?
No, that's red and brown. dark blonde and light brown is just that; dark blonde and light brown.
