They're the true face of what humanity becomes when the lights go off. A negative evaluation of them is a negative evaluation of yourself as a human being.

I've never felt the need to rage against the machine, or act like them in anyway.

I feel that they are just a bunch of bullies and spoilt kids. My conversations with a few of them have led me to conclude that they lash out at the world because they were "picked on" (in one way or another) in real life. Seeing as they don't have the means to attack in real life, they use the internet.. Hacking facebooks and stuff. Plus all this shit about attack Minecraft and Gene Simmons.. Its as if they are 5 year olds who can't get what they want, so they ***** and cry. Although I really don't know how much damage they do.. Taking a site offline for half a hour doesn't really scream "you're fucked" to me..

Of course, I'm well aware that this is only a small amount of the people on 4chan.

Anonymous isn't an organised group. You don't become a member. You have one person on a popular, lawless website who wants to start something. He posts his plan. Other people like the plan, or think it would be a good troll. They start acting out the plan.

Anonymous isn't a group of super-hacker revolutionaries. It's a bunch of bored people who are good with computers, who decided it would be good for a laugh to troll a website.

Those are all superlatives and absolutes. I hate Anonymous, and I love it- it has massive potential for good, and (as we all know) massive potential for evil. In the middle is massive potential for harmless dicking around (Like, arguably, those youtube pornography attacks) and harmful dickheadishness.

Look, never has there been a more wretched hive of scum and villainy than 4Chan and associated sites, but the folk who frequent them get shit done. Sometimes it's even good stuff.

Everyone is part of anonymous anyway thats the point so you can't disagree with actions or opinions anyway because they have none. They do a lot of good things but on the other hand you get some pricks that do things in the name of anonymous that can be less than desirable. Its an amazing and unique idea i just wish more people had the stones to fight for what they beived in because they/you have provided the mask to hide your actios behind
