Poll: Your Parents and Violent Video Games

When i was younger i had to follow the rules, ex i couldnt play teen games until i was 13, but wen i was 14 i convinced my mom to let me play m games and she hasnt cared since

my parents used to HATE video games in general, but have warmed up to them, once they saw I could keep my studies up and not go on a psychopathic rampage.

"Allow" me? Uh, they hate that I play them to the point of them breaking my disks sometimes, but they can't really stop me from playing them if I want to :\

At the point I looked old enough to buy my own M rated games (15), my parents stopped caring at all. At around 12, they started only restricting the really violent games. Surprisingly, my mother bought me GTA3 when I was 13.

Yes, they do allow me to play them now since I'm old enough. Usually it's me who pauses the game when my little brother or sister comes into my room since I'm a little protective about that towards them.

After all I am their big brother.
