I still like them overall because they don't stop making quality games but honestly, their reaction to operation rainfall is kind of a big dick move.
Nintendo needs the goodwill of its loyal fans to survive, as the new ones the Wii raked in are just as likely to move on to the next big thing as they are to stay loyal to Ninty. The way they treated the rainfall fans, it really left a big scar, huge douche move.
That and the 3DS still hasn't really hit its mark yet, I think it was too premature of a release, even now they only have maybe 3 games that are worthwhile for it, and the 3D element is nowhere near as big an innovation as they thought. It might end up going down as one of the lower points in Nintendo's product history.
I have hope for the Wii U though, the touch screen controller could potentially add a whole new level for game UI, if it's utilized correctly. Only time will tell if developers know what to do with it beyond gimmicky crap.
