PC get to chose controls (Keyboard/hook up an xbox controller), better graphics usually and most of my friends play on the PC as well.

I choose PC, mainly my laptop acts as a take anywhere high performance hand held and I have a lot of great games for it. I do have a PS3 and I do play that too, but most of the games I have for the PS3 are either games that I prefer to play on console (Assassins Creed games and dead space with the surround sound for soiled pants) and exclusives.

I've got to go with the Nintendo Wii. Nintendo's first party games, some good ones from Capcom and Sega, and the occasional hidden gem are nice enough, but because it's backed up by the Virtual Console's ports of classic titles, it gets my vote.

Xbox 360 is my runner up. While it doesn't have nearly as many great exclusives as the winner, I don't have a PS3 nor a PC that can compete with the 360. So, for me, it's the only way to play Mass Effect, Oblivion, and other great games available on multiple platforms. Also, like the Wii's virtual console, the xbox live arcade has a nice selection of classic games, as well as some remakes and great new titles. Also, Halo's a lot of fun.

Depends on how much choice I have. If money is no object: PC, but if money is an object then the PS3 is a better option. It's quite a pain with the PC not knowing if a game will perform well. I just had this reminder trying Magic The Gathering Tactics, which I think is a bit silly that it performs poorly on a Core 2 Duo with discreet DX9 graphics. With a console I at least know it will run.

PS3 offers me that certainty, and it's also quite versatile, so comes the closest to matching a PC in functionality (before OtherOS was removed and now that Homebrew is feasible). As far as breadth of titles go, the PS3 is also second only to the PC, and has a number of game types the PC doesn't (the reverse is also true).
