Poll: Your Pubic Hair And You

Before I started dating (in college) I never thought much about the hair below. When my first serious girlfriend and I lost our virginity together we found the way the smell of urine stayed with each others unshaven pubes and the awkwardness of pubic hairs resulting from oral sex distasteful. We agreed to both trim on a regular basis thereafter.

Others are turned on by such smells, and even take shaving as an artistic challenge.

Do you shave your pubic hair? Trim it or shave it into patterns or dirty words?

Where do you stand on this important modern issue?

Well, I do have to say its become a much more active consideration in my life. I wouldn't mind my partner trimming hers more for oral sex but it is more of a purely mechanical concern for not getting hair in my mouth than anything to do with aesthetics.

We're clean people so the smell isn't an active concern unless we were in a rush, disqualifying a shower...

Not everything belongs in the Wild West. Don't forget that it's inaccessible to everyone lacking a PubClub membership (happily granted to most Escapists by the Tech Team just before they left after being fired). Most Escapists either don't know where to find WW and/or want nothing to do with that...particular...forum.

Anyway, I did do a quick thread check and nothing with "pubic hair" popped up so I ran with it.

Personally I like it when my plane has a strip to land on. Something about a well maintained runway just makes my plane fly faster and further.
As for the maintenance on my Cessna-7, I listen to ground control. I make sure to follow all rules and regulations set by the airport I'm landing on. If the rules are lax, I won't go out of my way to maintain. But if the rules are strict I like knowing before I land so I don't have to pay some sort of penalty or talk my way down.

I've dabbled in trimming my pubes once or twice, and found the after effect rather unpleasant. Pubic hair helps disperse sweat and without my nethers get soggy and "rubbery" Maybe women have a harder time not getting pee all over their pubes, but that's not a problem for me. And even if it was, sex isn't exactly something I ever have... ever.

A trim at least, otherwise it gets a bit messy. Also, when I try to whip it our for a piss without taking my pants off, better there's less things to get caught in all the elastics and skin and what have you. Also, out of consideration for anyone who is gracious and willing enough to get their face that close to such a region.

So you're asking if I take look at one of the most sensitive regions of my body, with tens of thousands of nerve endings and more blood vessels than you can shake a stick at, and think to myself "what this area needs is to have a sharpened blade run over it, wielded by a person who whose head is an entire torso away from being able to properly see what he's doing"? About as often as I find myself thinking "gosh, I'm out of gum; I'd better go chew on a grenade".

Also: people, the things on the top of your head are not "scalps", and the things on the front of your crotches are not "pubes". An object is not its location.

Wax. Waxed so that it contained nicely in my knickers and roughly trimmed with some scissors because it gets long otherwise. If I don't keep the edges waxed then I can never go out in a swimsuit/bikini because it spreads down my inner thigh. I get it done professionally when I can, but I can managed myself with some contortion. I also wax my legs, forearms and top lip. So it's just easy to add it to a waxing day.

Why not pay for it then? Preferably a high-end escort who can provide a girlfriend experience. Life is short. You won't get a medal denying yourself everything. A few ehmm..sessions might also help you get over your anxiety to approach women. What do you have to lose? Before you know it you'll be a 40-year old virgin with all your prime years wasted.

Shave them a month ago. Fully bald. Boy did it get cold. Takes a long time to grow back.

My preference on women? Well, I ain't picky at all. Clean, still eat. Bush, still eat.

My body hair is such that I look like a satyr but with the goat tail on the front (and also that goat tail has a dick popping out of it) so I usually keep it trimmed and taper it into my happy trail for aesthetic reasons. When I was single I'd maintain it a bit less but I'd still have "I need a haircut" moments from time to time.
