I'm just curious about the demography here, how many people here actually are in a relationship.
I feel that married is different (and more enjoyable) than 'in a relationship' but I guess that's what I'll put.

In relationships, and happy with them. :)
i'm not sure what to say about that, mostly about the plural
You can chill. I'm not stupid enough to boast about doing anything unethical. They all know about each other. Hells, I have dinner with 2 of them at once on a regular basis. All 3 would happen if the third wasn't unfortunately long distance. :(
But you must make it happen woman! That's like, 3 times the boobs!
*Man brain explodes*

Ah, good old man brain. The bit that gets excited at the thought of films with Bruce Willis, bacon,
guitar solos, and boobs.

It'll be back soon enough...

OT: In a relationship, going on about 4 years now.
'tis awesome.
It amazes me that more people don't have a serious problem with this. (i.e.: I'm amazed you don't have a billion women [or even guys] howling you off the forum yet)
Because I'm obviously joking?
With the Serenegoose post we're quoting
You didn't quote her, you quoted me. I'm the only one who got a notification, so it's logical to think you were addressing me. Break it up next time if you want to address someone.

Also, I assume she hasn't been howled off the forums because most people have some maturity; People who Judge others for how they want to have an (honest) relationship are rightly looked down upon.

Fair enough, I still don't believe it's right, but that's just a personal opinion

It kills me more that the girl that rejected me is my best friend, and I talk to her everyday.
Ouch man, been there... teetering on the edge of being there again

Why the plural? *suspicious face*

OT: It's complicated; I have fancied the one girl for a year or two now, unfortunately my mate is going out with her and would batter me if I tried anything plus I don't wanna lose his friendship, however the girl constantly flirts with me when he's not around. So it's complicated, very complicated.

I honestly have no idea. Sure I have someone who I am emotionally(and physically) involved with(and vice-versa), but she has a boyfriend(who isn't me). I have no idea what that makes it.

In a long term relationship. One could almost state that I'm getting close to family life. It's kinda scary, but kinda cool at the same time. Talks about children have started to pot up in general conversation.

Was with a girl for almost 6 months, loved the crazy ***** dearly. She went off to the Marines, and now I'm all by my lonesome.

Though, it's mostly because I'm taking a bit to decide whom to get interested with next...

I don't believe that judging other people for the relationship format they choose is right. I don't mock your monoamory. My partners know I'm polyamorous. They may also be polyamorous. I believe that love is not a finite resource to be hoarded, but shared. I have the capacity to love more than one person. They have the capacity to love more than one person. I also believe that everyone has a limit of partners that they are comfortable with due to practical constraints such as time, energy, motivation, etc. For many people that is 1. For many others that is more than 1. For some, it may be less. As all of these options are not implicitly harmful, it should be up to the individual to decide which is more natural for them - not society.

Complicated. A loose relationship that suffers from a too far distance and infrequent visits. It is as unsatisfying as it sounds.
