After Scott Pilgrim? Bass.
Four strings and providing a backing rhythm would be far better to me than being Slash.
pretty much this.

OT:bass is winning... never wouldve guessed.

Electric guitar, 'cos I'm awesome at it. Ok, I'm not, but I can play it better than any other instrument *shrugs*
Plus, I have a sweet ass Dean Razorback. It's a true metal guitar! :D

After that I would choose drums. I can kind of play them, although I haven't pursued it that much, but they're fun to have a bit of a bash on.

Either vocals or drums but I'm more partial towards vocals because I can't move my feet fast enough to be an effective metal drummer.

I play both guitar and bass, but prefer bass.

Though I have a very soft spot for a good drum set, even though I don't play it outside Rock Band on Expert.

I'm gonna go with bass, it's just completely hardcore.

Fretless four-string with a thin neck and fat ass body.

Slap that bass.

Electric guitar. Drums are second because without drums everything else feels empty.

Since you lack it, I'll toss something in here...

Before you try to refute me, S&M.

I wanna learn how to play the keyboard/synth.

Hopefully I'll be good enough to get into a band, and yes, I SHALL have a solo!

I drum, fail at over half the things I try to cover, but recently been covering Pendulum songs with certain succes. Mate of mine plays bass guitar and I envy him for that sometimes, but I'll stick with what I know, my hands are unusualy beefy thx to it too, so I'm happy.
