Hey guys, I checked if there was one of these already, but if there is I'm sorry I definitely missed it in the search.

Anyway, for those of us in the Starcraft 2 Beta, What's your current league/rank in 1v1? Please feel free to include what race you play.

After winning 8 games running in my Gold League, I've finally moved back up to 41st position, which kinda sucks because my win loss ratio is 20:14 and I'm just over 1000 pts again. (Sucks when you lose to people you're favored against (-20 pts) and can only seem to win against people you're favored against (+5 pts) as well). But recently I've been using and abusing an incredibly overpowered strategy [http://www.filefront.com/16009223/2v2LingRush.avi/] that you see me using here in a custom 2v2. I even announce our strat in all chat (woops) and the opposing team can't stop us.

If you haven't guessed it, I play Zerg from now until the end of time :p

Also if you're wondering there are supposed to be Seven Leagues [http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2487/3843366465_20c8bc67de.jpg] on release. Though practice league may just be for anyone to play in.

I'm only playing Bronze in 1v1 putting myself in the top 8 with my tosses :p

Anyway, ling rush is not that OP, looking at that replay i see you opponents make a few mistakes.. Playing against Z as a toss you should cluster you base to block lings from overrunning it and go for photos asap.. The terran seemlingly failed at blocking.. I mostly play 2v2 with one of my mates (Z/P setuprocks) he 6 pools while i tech up (on maps where its possible) in Twilight i go photo our entrance and he rushes mutas.. win, every, time (we are currently nr 1 in our bronze league, we failed a bit in the qual games).

Anyway, so far I've seen way too many people whine about this and that is an OP strat, but often i find it comming from people using the "this works so im sticking to it" aproach to it instead of trying out new things.. Like what kills a muta swarm better than a handfull of templars with a stalker meatshield?
