Used to be sniper, he has my most time.
But more recently it's been
1) Medic
2) Demoman
3) Engineer/Heavy

EDIT: The attack classes: Scout, Soldier, Pyro are my lowest in play-time.

Well I've played Medic the most. And it's always nice to play as one. You mainly just have to worry about staying alive and keeping your buddy alive as well. And when matched up with a Heavy it can be really easy. And a nicely timed Uber can do wonders for the team.

Second is the Soldier. Whenever I just want to kill things I pick him. Deals a lot of damage straight up and can take out a lot of different things.

Not far behind in third is the Heavy. He can be so fun to play as and, when played right, so hard to kill. Except for those pesky Snipers and Spies.

As for my least played, its the Demoman. I'm just not very good with him, plus I just don't like the play style. If I want offense, I'll take the Soldier. If I want defense, I'll take the Heavy. The only time I'll really use him is for a really pesky Sentry (that is when I don't just try to sap it with the Spy).

1. Soldier (default rocket laucher + The Gunboats + The Equalizer makes me GOD.)
2. Demoman (I am beast with The Scottish Resistance)
3. Spy (Your Eternal Reward + Cloak and Dagger makes it fun and challenging)

EDIT: Oh, and something to say...

1. A team should never have more than three Snipers and/or three Spies
2. A Medic is always needed
3. Sniper is least played because I feel he doesn't contribute at all.

the scout. It has one hard counter(engie) and that's it. Scout deals so much damage it's ludicrous, and they are great at escaping. Overall, I think it's one of the three stealth class of the game(along with spy and pyro) as you need very good planning to take down some target without being seen.

Else, i'd go with the assault sniper. Christ, not camping around all day long, but actually helping the team. Moving from cover to cover, attacking from unexpected angles, patrolling the base, quickscoping, etc etc :D

Shout out to the medic class, too. I mean, you can just pocket heal a heavy, but running in gun blazing with a ubered demo just crashes the 4 engie in the other team so bad. Plus, healing three guy at once behind ennemy line is so frentic that you won't regret playing medic.

Favorite: Medic - A good one can turn a mediocre team into a great team.
Scout - Combination of speed and power make for a good game, but as a FaN scout i know I'm far more useful ignoring the enemy team and just using my natural dodging ability to run the flag.
Demoman - Grenades for large groups, stickies for trap setting, and a frying pan for everything else.
Pyro - I hate soldiers and huntsmen.

Hated: Heavy - Way too slow >.<
Soldier - The only way to move fast is to damage yourself, not really my style.
Spy - It seems everyone and their mother spychecks.
Sniper - Can't hit the broad side of a barn, let alone someones head.

Happy Middle: Engineer - Love the mini-sentries, hate the big ones.

I used to play as Soldier, Sniper, and pyro. Until I stopped just because it got boring. Although I stopped with sniper due to the fact that all my skill magically vanished.

I like scout, because I like speed, and it cuts the long walks to the battle in some levels

The rest are just pot luck really, depending on my mood

Demoman, for multiple reasons.
Stickybombgun for buildings.
Eyelander (or headless horsemans axe) for snowballing potential.
Ulapool caber + sticky jumper for hilarious shits and giggles.

Pyro is one letter away from Pro.

Either that or Heavy, Medic, or Spy. Usually depends on what my teammates are.

The Scout. On a bad day, I get butchered. On a good day, I can wipe out the enemy team, outmaneuver sentries with ease and capture the intelligence with minimal effort.

I am a combat medic on nearly all the FPS I play. I spend my games keeping track of what my teammates are doing, and supporting certain areas appropriately. For me it's all about being level headed, carefully splitting your time, and being aware of your teammate's actions, intentions and where the most resistance is.

TF2's medic possibly applies the least to my play style of any of my games, but I'm still the reliable safety net of my friends.

See if you can guess from my DP what my main is.

Indeed, I am ze' spy.

Feared by Engies, Heavies, Medics, and Snipers everywhere.

And non-premium Soldiers, of course.

Engineer and Pyro/Heavy on one.
I dislike scouts. They are usefull, but spammy as hell.
And I try to be a good pyro, a reflecting one. Currently using the backburner though, the thing is overpowered >:D
ReservoirAngel said:
Favourite: the Sniper. it's both familiar to me, as someone who's spent most of their FPS career blowing people's blocks off from 2 miles away, but also refreshingly challenging. TF2 is such a clusterfuck of insanity that you need to be constantly moving. Snipe then move, sniper then move. sometimes even snipe while moving (which produced me my best "fuck yeah!" moment by blowing the head off a Spy as he was about to knife a teammate.)

2nd favourite is the Heavy because...like you said, ur a tank that walks like a man!

One I hate:
Spy: i just hate them. 90% of the deaths dealt to my in this game have been Spies skulking up behind me. fuckers
Pyro: just...fuck you Pyros! i hope your gas tanks explode and you die. there's no strategy involved, you just charge in spraying flames wildly. they suck.

seriously, i hate anyone who plays as Pyros. they're just cheap talentless fuckers.
You make the poor pyro sad. Good pyro's can be hell to enemies. Ambushing. Waiting. Flaming.
And when you least expect it.. FIRE FiRE FIRE!!!

I play as Medic a lot of the time, mostly because I can feel useful as I increase my teammate's chances of not getting gibbed within the next five seconds. However, even though I like medic a lot, I've got twice as much time sunk into Engineer, because often my team is a bunch of offense-heavy thick-headed twats who don't realize that the best way to keep somebody from stealing our intelligence is NOT to try and steal theirs first. So me and the other two people on the team of sixteen who realize this all head down to the intel room or the bomb cart tracks or wherever we're going and build a bunch of beeping death traps. And then we fool a pyro with promises of cookies and milk or something to coming down and keeping the spies away. And by this time four hours have passed and I'm still playing Engineer. I'm okay with the class, I just end up spending a lot of time as it because I don't like to lose.
Also I pretty much don't play as any other class that sees front-line combat because I'm absolutely horrible in multiplayer FPS games. Any class I play as that's slightly slow gets their head riddled with Sniper bullets, and any class that's got less health than a dumpster gets gibbed by anyone with explosives. So I just stay behind the front lines and mop up the retard Pyro charges with two friends and a shitload of bullets, or hide behind my friends with the magic healing gun, praying my meat shield will hold together long enough to take down THEIR nest of sentries.

In case you couldn't tell, I really like TF2. But I only play vanilla(sort of, the Engineer's newfangled pick-up-your-shit-and-move-it doesn't count)! None of this item shit. When I get an item, I promptly give it away, and if nobody wants it, I destroy it. I really hate the item system and I refuse to participate in it. Well okay, this wasn't always the case, I stopped liking the item system when you could fucking BUY THEM. And the crates! Christ alive, don't get me started on the fucking crates.
Anyway. Tangential. Sorry. Those are my favorite classes, and I have way too much fucking time on my hands.
