Poll: Your Thoughts When You See Someone With a Ridiculous Post Count.

If they do it quickly... I think they're gonna get themselves banned soon.

Case in point: Eggo, MaxtheReaper, Indigo, Mobius (I miss Mobius, ah well).
If over a period of time it usually means they're safe to have an argument with, they've made it this far without getting banned, chances are they can put together a reasoned discussion.

Or they're just obscenely lucky like me...

Not sure where the whole 'respect your elders' perception stems from, maybe you smallies are just insecure?

I think they post a load. For example, lots of them signed up in '09, and I signed up in '08 (admittedly, I didn't use the forums much 'till recently) and they have a postcount over 10x that of mine. It's crazy, fo shiznit.

I personally don't care about post count. But those with more than 5k posts have my immediate respect - as they've been on the forums longer and know how the community works.

Quality > Quantity though.
(I'll put it this way, if you had 0.001 grams of marijuana that would get you high for the rest of your life; or 5000 grams of marijuana that would last you a few years - which would you rather?)

Eh. i only think option B when i see someone who has over a thousand posts, and has only been here for a month or less, or really any other count higher than a thousand per month of being here.

most other times, i don't really care.
