I got mine after I met up with Nicholas Cage during the world premiere of Kickass. I told him about this crazy scheme of a road-trip I had, but I needed star power and money. He liked it, so he pulled together himself, Jack Nicholson and this chick from some advert in Ukraine. We ended up in India (somehow) with the local Holy-Men, drugged up to the neck and shouting bizarre in-jokes at each other. Jack decided to pass onto me an ancient family heirloom, which his great-granddaddy had retrieved during a battle in the ill-fated Caribbean theatre of the American Civil War during the secret operation "Mind-F*ck"

OP: I'm surprized you didn't include "anime" as an option for this thread, considering how it seems to me that loads of people use those for their avatars (more than famous people and/or Chuck Norris anyway)... personally I use cute anime characters

Well, my current avatar is a self made picture of my idea of Leonardo DaVinci, so...yeah.
