I would have to vote for the sniper rifle. Its so much fun to take out a target that is blissfully unaware of the cross-hairs currently resting on their forehead. If I can't have the sniper than I would prefer to dual wield some swords.

The gun from Painkiller that shoots Shuriken and Lightning. ( I don't remember what it is called).
I voted magic, cause cool shit happens, it looks pretty, and it is not just used in fighting, plenty of games you play using magic w/o using it to kill.
I love fairly accurate, medium-long range rifles, whether they're automatic, semi-automatic or burst fire. Hence some of my favorite weapons of all time being Halo 2's Battle Rifle and Halo: Reach's DMR. I'm a rifleman through-and-through. Though amusingly, I'm a terrible sniper...
My vote went to magic for obvious reasons. They never jam, can't be traced, you can't accidentally drop it, it's fire (and others) coming out your hands, etc. I mean come on! It's magic! Anyone can use a gun.
