If, for some insane reason, you were forced to listen to your ENTIRE music collection - music you currently possess, across all mediums - would you survive it?

Basically, if you were locked in a room with nothing but your iPod (Or whatever device you use to listen to music most, with all the music you currently possess loaded onto it) playing every song from every album from every artist, until you had listened to every song. Would you survive it?

I don't think I personally would. My iPod at the moment has over 12 days of music on it, and it's all complete albums.

Sitting through the 12 days, if I somehow managed to survive from lack of water, I think I would almost definitely go insane. I love so much of my music, but a decent proportion of it is bad albums or bad tracks. I have so many complete albums and there are so few that don't contain at least one bad song. Sure, there'd be loads of highlights, but having to listen to that Ke$ha album on day 7 might just push me over the edge.

So Escapist! How would you look at the end of all your music?

P.s. If this included Podcasts, I could be given food and water and still probably die of old age...

``20,560 songs: 55 Days, 6 hours and 45 minutes.'' Yeah, I'd be dead.

[sub]...and that's only the stuff that I've actually put on my hardrive; I have at least another hundred CDs besides.[/sub]

I have about 4 days worth of music on my computer alone, and then I have tons of CDs and just as many vinyls, I wanna say more than a hundred each, so after awhile I might be driven insane.

I guess the bright side would be I'd never have to worry about not having a song in my head!

I've got over 500 albums at last count, which was several years ago. So, figuring an average of 1 hour per album, that's over 20 days of music. I would be quite dead.

Oh, and that's all hard copy stuff. I'm a dinosaur and don't care for iPods and such.

16 days of music? Not as extreme as some others I'm sure but pretty solidly in the 'dead' category.

I honestly don't know how much music I have these days. Not in the sense of 'lost count', I have a pretty big collection, I just almost never listen to music since I got out of my teens.

I think I have somewhere round 150 albums or there abouts, at least that sounds about right. I never really understood people who are so into how big/ecclectic their music collection is.

Lets be honest... We all go through periods of listening to specific things or specific kinds of things, its just that nowerdays when we can't lose CDs it hangs around and thus we have big collections that the vast majority of which we haven't listened to in literally years.

Its only really sad acts who think their musical choices are an acceptably interesting alternative to a personality who know the size of their collection. Close behind that comes the certain knowledge that whoever they are talking to has never heard of any of it *sigh*

I just cleaned a ton of music off of mine and still have 21 days worth. If I were to put everything I erased (a bunch of music I liked in high school and early college) back on, I would easily get to 30 days.

Yeah...very dead. But before I died, I'd be annoyed at all that pop punk shit I used to like (oh no!!! Not Yellowcard again!)

Dude, I have a few hundred hours in vinyl records alone. As for all mediums, I have no idea, roughly 700 gigs of music on an external hard drive. I think it's pretty safe to say that I'm dead.

A good two-thirds of a day's worth of music.
Definately not more than a day and a half.
Bring it.
Most of it's on iTunes, but a have a fair few CDs.
I'll definately survive.

I would be a pile of dust on the floor and I would still be enjoying my music.
