I've got over 32 days of podcasts (and I've deleted quite a lot of my older ones).
Yeah, I don't think podcasts could be counted, I have an INSANE amount of them. iTunes says I have 58.8 days on my iPod, not including all the ones I've deleted over the years.
So... I think maybe we should stick to just music!

I have ~0100hrs of music in digital ~60hrs on CD ~300hrs on vinyl. I am so dead.
Also Does sheet music count? Since I got good collection of that too.
Haha, I think in your case it doesn't really matter whether the sheet music's taken into account, I don't think you'd ever get around to looking at it...

I currently have 23,866 (and growing) songs at 72.7 days just in my iTunes. I still have tons of CDs I haven't put into iTunes yet. I like all types of music and am sort of a collector at times...so to answer the question, bare bones dead but it would be totally awesome to have some time to listen to it all!

If I had to listen to it all? 7 days apparently, but I'd go mad long before then as I have plenty of albums I hate on my itunes that I haven't deleted yet because, well, actually I don't know why. I should probably do that.

I only really listen to my top-rated playlist which is about 2 and 1/2 days.

3 days of music. About 1200 songs. Add OST from Neverwinter Nights, Diablo, Witcher, Mass Effect, Jade Empire and every song I can get but too lazy to get.

By the way, this reminds me of a study I heard of a while back where they put a few mice in a cage and played Anthrax for 24 hours before the mice killed each other. Awesome. I wonder if this would have the same effect?
I guess we could put a few people in together to find out. I'm pretty confident there are one or two albums in my collection that would probably trigger that kind of response...

All my music here will take nearly 46 days to finish.
Hmmm, if I'm actually there to listen to it all, I will probably leave the scene quite alive!
Raging mad, but alive.

Then again, I would go out with the sweet tunes of ZZ Top at least! :p

Wait a minute, LOCKED room you say?
Yeaaaah, I'd be long dead and gone.

I'd be going several days without water. I don't have a lot of music, but some of my trance sets are very long. Particularly ASOT 300 live which is 7 hours nonstop.

I'd be pretty damn hungry and thirsty. I've got about 4 days worth of music on my ipod.

What I would be interested in is how big these insane collections would be if everyone got their music 100% legally, not saying some of you aren't, but buying 50 days worth of music is just a stupid amount of money to me.

Eh not that much, about 2 days on iTunes, I have a huge amount of songs I have favourited on Youtube, maxed out the number of favourites on close to 2 accounts now, which has all the songs I enjoyed but can never be bothered to get.

I'm actually fairly fickle about what music I keep in my "personal collection". It's not that I'm picky about what type of music it is (I'll listen to pretty much anything if it sounds good, thoguht I tend to avoid country like the plauge), it just has to "strike" me.

I have, I dunno, maybe 600 or 700 songs spread between my computers and my (rather old) iPod, not all of which is actually loaded into iTunes (more than once I've downloaded a band's entire discography and never got around to listening to more than half of it). If you include all the physical-media music in my house -- not much of it technically belongs to me, but I like a fair amount of it and listen to those records pretty often -- you could throw in another couple hundred songs. I have very little little idea how long that would be, so I'll go for "several days". Probably not dead, but in bad shape.

Counting the MP3s and the vinyl/CDs separately would be pretty redundant, though.

Actually, if you include my Rock Band songs, I think it'd jump by another couple hundred (there's a fair amount of overlap but I have all three of the main games plus Lego Rock Band and a smattering of DLC; that's like 250 songs or something). And I do often use Rock Band 3 as a music player, so including it would be fair.

17 days, 9 hours, 35 minutes, 25 seconds
5722 songs
560 albums

It would be a great way to weed out my collection. This is excluding the 80+ albums I haven't listened to yet that I've snatched from what, which would easily add on four or five more days.

I'd probably die from starvation before I finish all of Brian Eno.

Pretty sure I'd be dead, and I consider my musical collection to be rather small compared to most and I hop to greatly expand on it. Although I'd want to remembe to eat if I did try listening to it all in one go.

The last time I uploaded all of the music to my hard drive (I have bought CDs since then, as well as a new laptop that DOESN'T have most of my music on it) I had like 125 hours on it. If I could drink water, I would be fine, if not, I think I am dead...
