Super Mario World, which means I'm stuck with platformers.

Quite nice since I can play every single Megaman-game (not counting MM - Legends, it's just awkward), the classic Mario-games and Zelda II.

So I could live with that =D

I'm soo damn old-school I almost scare myself..

Well that means I'm stuck playing RPG's for the rest of my life. There is no problem with this. Bethesda has become my personal god. All is well with the world.

Visual novel...if you could call that a game. Perhaps Total Annihilation would be better (i played that before the VN).

I could live with both. TA has ECKSPLOSHIONS!!!1 and the overall premise is very cool. If depressing.

FPS/RPG yes, it's fallout 3, and probably yes, I'd love living as an Outcast, or as a regulator(except the part when I'm killed by any wildlife creature)

I played an MMOFPS... I'd have to way goodbye my intelligent gamer style...

I'd choose RTS over FPS any day. Who's with me?

Oh crap, casual gaming. NOOOOOOO! Wait, does it count as an RPG? I was pretending to be a baker... so it's okay?

I just purchased and played through Heavy Rain this afternoon. I'm not sure what genre it would qualify as. I mean, it was little more than an interactive movie that was actually a pretty bad movie and an even worse game. In spite of that, I suspect it will remain memorable in spite of fairly glaring oversights in the narrative. Were I to pigeon hole it, I'd probably say it most closely resembles an adventure game but there were no real puzzles, just a lot of hand dexterity tests.

Man, now that I think about it, I'd really pity anyone who was playing the CD-i Zelda games at the time the lock when into effect.

You'd be stuck with crappy off-system spin-off's forever. T_T
