I pronounce it zee... because I'm American. It depends on where you're from. But yeah, anyone pronouncing it otherwise has Liam Neeson to talk to.

What I glean from this poll is that the majority of respondents are from the UK or some other country with the union jack on their flag. Hailing from the US of A myself, I pronounce it Zee, as that is our correct pronunciation, based as it is on a 17th century British dialectical pronunciation; like many points on which English speakers on respective sides of 'the pond' disagree, Americans aren't wrong so much as they're simply more faithful to the historical pronunciation of English than the English, who have changed their dialect considerably over the centuries since we parted ways.

Zed in English, Tset in German, Zeta in Greek, Zulu in phonetics and zamzam in Arabic phonetics. Zamzam means apricot, in case anyone's wondering.

I pronounce it Zed, sorry America you are doing it wrong. Don't make us play the 'fuck you we invented the language card'.

In my country it's Zeta, but more like Seta or Tseta, don't bother trying since Finnish and Swedish is probably too hard for you to understand ^^, in "seta" the s is fastly pronounced and like zeta but it's not as heavy as a z... oh fu** it I won't even try -.-

I say Zee, like probably most dumb Americans.
Sorry, just the way we're taught. It's probably the damned alphabet song.
admitting you have a problem is the first step towards recovery

I said zed at first, but zee fits a lot.... I'm a french Canadian so I grew up with zed, but when I'm using the English language, zee feels more fitting with the rest of the alphabet.

Don't make us americans have to point out that our language is closer to 16th century english than the current british english version is... Then again, languages evolve all the time. It's not nessesarily a bad thing either. You don't hear french people complaining to the spanish that their language has drifted too far from latin.

Hell, the first time I ever heard zed as a way to pronounce it was in Stargate with Rodney McKay in reference to the zero point module, or ZPM for short. Them crazy canadians. Don't they know they continue to exist because we need the northern buffer zone to protect us from the polar bears.

Like most of us from 'Merica, I say "zee". I can see the advantages to saying "zed", I suppose, but I was taught "zee" when I was little and, when it comes down to it, it doesn't really matter all that much. I'll stick with "zee".
