Poll: Zombie Invasion: what weapon do you reach for first?

Personally i'd go for a shotgun since the aul zombies tend to take more than a few hits to knock down, but the rate of fire and need to reload would probably ensure my early demise should i be swamped... what would be your weapon of choice? (i could only list 8 for the poll, but feel free to add more)

ell since a chainsaw is not that pratical since you need to boot it up and stuff id go for my love with sharp objects and grab axe's and hatchets and aal the other cool stuff you can use to kill the other survivors err... i mean the zombie's with

I take the concept of preparation for trouble WAY too seriously. I also wouldn't want the last remaining humans killing them self with a chainsaw/flamethrower. But since its a joke it doesn't matter(zombies won't never will/can't exist) still doesn't hurt to correct people for thinking a chainsaw would be effective against anything other than a tree

That depends: Are the zombies already coming down my street? Or are they relatively close but still not a problem atm?
If they're close, my 12 ga winchester 1300. Got a couple hundred rounds for it, so im not an easy target. Add the ammo to 100 yard, close to MOA accuracy, and its a zombie killing machine.
If the zombies are somewhat close, either run to Gander Mountain and pick up the bolt action .50 they have there, or knock over the nearest gun shop that stocks ar-15s and ammo. Both firearms offer very good accuracy out to around 500yds for the ar and well over 2000yds for the .50 (didnt check, but i think the longest confirmed kill was made by a Canadian at around 2500 yds)

Also, what the hell is a water cannon gonna do to zombies???

What about all the effects of burning their muscles and nervous systems to cinders?
They heat would be enough to cause some damage if you missed them.
Only real problems could be fuel, weather, and space. Don't want to use it in confined quarters.

Now for the real question is the lawnmower a dead alive reference? I mean for the sure awesomeness I would have to go with the lawnmower but for practicality a sawed off shotgun and a chainsaw only because I dont know off hand where to acquire a minigun.

Rule #1 of zombie apocalypse: NEVER, under any circumstances, use a gun that only has a capacity of 2 bullets. This just makes it easier for zombies to eat you.

The Baseball bat, seeing as there is no crowbar around. It's quiet, so no attracting more Zombies, it doesn't need extra fuel(see lawnmower) and melee weapons DON'T NEED RELOADING!
