Although I'm not a fan of MMOs, I would definitely pay for a Zombie MMO.
Imagine if Valve made a Left 4 Dead MMO: The survivors would be all about collecting guns, supplies, meds, etc. while the zombies would have their special classes: Boomers, Hunters, Smokers, etc.
OR
A World War Z based MMO. You could have different cities each having a Safe Zone (for trading items and stuff) but out in the Danger Zone it's up to you to find your own Safe Houses. Image if you could salvage parts to build a Bus-O-Doom by putting metal siding, barb wire etc on a small bus (yah Dawn of the Dead 2004 didn't do that, shut up!). Or have it so that clans can baragade buildings to use as Safe Houses.
You could have different classes of humans:
Soldier (shoots stuff)
Medic heals infections
Mechanic: Can fix and repair vehicles, work with metal
Construction: Great with baragades, make ladders, etc.
If I can have my Biker Gang, I'll be happy.
