I'm writing an essay on bronies for college (God, I love college) and I was wondering if y'all could lead me to some stories about My Little Pony from mainstream news sources. I'm curious about how the media portrays us, whether as freaks, or just nerds going about their business.

EDIT: Perhaps I should elaborate--this essay is about deviance from societal norms. Anecdotes are accepted; hell, my professor encouraged them. Stories are the best way to communicate the human condition in his eyes.

For the record, I am Googling this, but I'm asking the Escapist community to lead me to any good articles I may miss.

You know, when you are in your late 20s and crushed under a monstrous student loan that is actively destroying your ability to live your life, you may look back on your paper about ostensibly grown men who enjoy a children's cartoon for little girls with somewhat less than enthusiastic nostalgia.

In addition, you have also come to entirely the wrong place for mainstream news stories.

You wanted 'www.google.com'.

Not the escapist, which is where you would come for anecdotes, which I highly doubt your professor will appreciate.

I'd recommend you go on ahead and google 'bronies associated press', because i doubt anyone else will do it for you.

Inb4 haters (wait, nevermind, took too long to find these).

Though given the lack of discussion value it might have been better to ask in the user group. Not that I mind much, because it gives me the option to link said group:

I recommend that anyone who joins turn chat notifications off when prompted as the group chat tends to be quite active.
