No, the show's VA's are still there, they just gave top billing to the guest celebrities. Yeah, it's weird, even though I can understand it's due to marketing reasons. I suppose Hasbro thinks names like Tara Strong, Aleisha Ball, Andrea Libman and Tabitha St. Germain won't get as much draw as Sia and Emily Blunt.Tanis said:So...wait...they replaced all the voice actors?
Anyways, I'm trying not to be too enthusiastic, but only because I don't want to be in agony waiting until October 7th. I haven't watched every new pony episode that came out, but the biggest appeal for me is the characters and the world of the show, and I'm still a big fan of them.
It's going to be odd seeing everyone suddenly talking about My Little Pony this October. I trust the crew behind this, but considering other recent animated movies based on toys and games, I hope this movie is at least more watchable than Angry Birds. If they're lucky, they might even be better than Trolls.
I'm really hoping for at least average, because this could be the only good non-anime 2D animated film we're ever going to get in a while.
