I wouldn't say that I hate any games in general.

I've never been able to get into Assassins Creed but I only tried to play the second one so I might give the series another go sometime.

I don't think that's exactly what you're looking for though.

Well I hate the way Square Enix tied up Kingdom Hearts' plot into an incomprehensible kudzu knot of nonsense and pretension. "Hate" is a very personal, and very intense emotion though. I don't "hate" things just because I'm not interested in them or just plain don't like them. In this case I don't hate the series per se - I hate the way it was handled. I hate the feeling of betrayal and disappointment that is born out of that. It's a little more complex than flat out stating "I hate Kingdom Hearts".

To answer the question:

I'm not really into CoD. I understand why people like it, but it's really not my cup of tea. In General: Most modern military shooters are garbage. Well I love Spec Ops: the Line but that's the only one I guess.

I can't stand Shovel Knight. I have no Idea why. I just can't stand it. Every Time I try to play it I get angry and want to punch the Game in the Face. It's completely unreasonable but there it is...pure and utter hatred for this little game.

Portal, Half Life, and Stalker are abominations on the game industry.

Portal is just a cheap, stupid puzzle game that only newbs play.

Half Life is just overatted trash! The main character doesn't even talk and he's a nerd cause he's smart and wears glasses.

Stalker is just a cheap rip-off of COD(best game everrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!) and Metro:2033. Trashy atmospheric, feminist garbage!

I don't really hate any franchise, to be honest. However if I did have to pick one, I'd probably say Assassin's Creed. Now, I've only played a little of the first game, but from what I've heard and the gameplay footages I've seen, it seems to mostly consist of an exaggerated form of what was done in Prince of Persia and an extremely dull combat system. The concept is cool, playing as an assassin in historic eras, but the execution just looks terribly uninteresting and underwhelming, while Black Flag's claim to fame is the naval combat, which I'm sure pales significantly compared to the Sea Dogs/Age of Pirates games.

I may be wrong, but they are my impressions on what could have been a fairly decent franchise.

I don't (usually) hate any series on the whole, but I can and sometimes do hate individual games in the series. Obligatory pour more gasoline on my copy of Halo 4.

I would hate some popular series, but I realise that the reason other games are so generic and lifeless is because of the publisher or the developer behind them. I can't hate Call of Duty just because Resident Evil 6 was developed by cowards under a publisher who's blindfolded.

OT: I wouldn't say that I hate it, but I wasn't too fond of Jazzpunk. Too much of the game's references went over my head for me to understand the jokes. I can see why it would appeal though.

Assassins Creed.

It pretty much killed the stealth genre, skinned it and is now wearing it as a poorly fitting suit and told all the CoD fans that they can be super cool sneaky assassins as well, they just need tk wear a similar suit.
