I hate World Of Warcraft I do not see the appeal of it or why people become obsessed plus it took several of my friends away from me.

HOW ORIGINAL!

Killzone 2 (is that popular anyway?) Littlebigplanet, Prototype.

And some more.
Speaking of which, I did not care for Prototype. I bought it, played it for one, maybe two days, then stopped.
That game just felt... stupid.
I just rented it... and felt bad for my wallet.

As for games I hate that are popular, I will say Ratchet and Clank. There were initially 3 big platformers on PS2: Ratchet and Clank, Sly Cooper, and Jak and Daxter. I love 2 of them and despise Ratchet and Clank. It just felt like a bad action game.

Halo.

You know, with all the people who say they hate Halo and don't understand its popularity, you'd think it'd be... I dunno... less popular. Maybe it's because people who like Halo aren't the kind of people who spent much time on internet forums.

Anyway, I also hate Kingdom Hearts and Far Cry 2 (with a passion).

Resident Evil, Left 4 Dead, anything else really to do with mindless zombie killing.

No game, on earth, doesn't feel stupid.

Name one truly smart game.

Resident Evil 4 because so many people I know love it but I just don't see the appeal, and also I hate Leon.
Halo because it's just the same basic FPS stuff and various plot points make little sense.
And Assassin's Creed simply because some hardcore fans at my school have recently started a war because none of them can agree on how to pronounce the main character's name (I wish I was joking).

Anything Rockstar has made. I play them but it just annoys me that somehow anything they make is worthy of the Gods. Prime example "Rockstar Table Tennis" one of the easiest sport games to set up Rockstar makes it seem the equivalent of the Six Nations or the Super Bowl. Also doing things for shock value is just asking to be played by kids that have no right to even step into a game store without a leash.

Call of Duty 6:
There is NO. SUCH. THING. as Call of Duty 6.

O.T. Halo Wars if that is still popular.

Call of Duty: 1-3, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty 5: World At War, Call of Duty 6: Modern Warfare 2.

There you go.
Ah, but W@W wasn't labelled Call of Duty 5, and MW2 wasn't labelled as Call of Duty 6

OT: I hate Gears of War, Halo, and FIFA.
But they are linear sequels. I refer to every game in a series that has the same template numerically, so even though it goes Overlord, Overlord 2, Dark Legend, and Minions, I say Overlord 1, 2, 3, and Minions because Minions is unique from the template.

It's the same reason I have a label maker so I can change "Rambo 3" and "Rambo" into First Blood parts 3 & 4.

I know why we've stopped putting numbers on the end of our titles: we are ashamed we've made so many Goddamn sequels.
So how do you do with the Alien movies? Alien Aliens Alien 3 Aliens Reassurection?

Well, it's not a perfect system. For that one, it'd just be Alien 1-4, Aliens vs Predator, AVP 2. I don't own them though, so I don't have to worry.

This probably isn't a correct response, but I was never fond of Doom. I understand that it was the first game to be fully immersed in 3D graphics and for that I do respect it greatly, but Doom Guy just swivels around too fast and after a while I get motion sickness.

I honestly don't understand how my father managed to play this for hours on end.

Modern Warfare 2
Final Fantasy (even 7)
Left 4 Dead 1/2
I could go on, but nah.

any game set in WWO2 THIS PATH IS OVER! and the Final Fantasy series for dragging on for 10+ sequals
well, the games aren't actually sequels. FF X-2 is a sequel, FFIX is not a sequel.

but me, i don't like Halo, hate how everyone keeps telling me its awesome, i should play it, i should get an x-box, pay monthly to get to play online.
Halo (atleast the first one) is pretty cool and if somebody says now releasing FF20! I wouldnt get excited because they could atleast rename every game or do the same as the Castlevania series stop numbering them like lets say FF7 could be Final Fantasy: Clouds Quest
