Pretty much any FPS game. The depths of my hatred for the FPS genre is almost limitless.

It doesn't matter what Yahtzee says, what score it got in GayInformer, if it's FPS I'm going to hate it.

Half Life 2. I've tried getting into this game several times, and I don't dislike it by any stretch if the imagination, but I just can't stick with it.
I've also had an extremely on and off relationship with World of Warcraft.

A massive virtual world, with cities thriving with real people in an epic fantasy setting packed with stuff to do, places to explore, and amazing monsters to slay as you level up and get better gear = Amazing

Being forced to grind the same instances over and over so that your gear doesn't suck so much you can't do half the stuff available to you at end game and the general atmosphere of it being a job and your guild being your employers = Very, very bad.

So you hate/can't get into a game that hasn't even been released yet huh?

I'd have to say The Orange Box

Portal was good if not quite as brilliant and funny as everyone says
Half Life 2 was tedious
Team Fortress 2,well I can see why people would enjoy it but try as I might I just could never get into it.Maybe it's the fact that it's multiplayer only?
After Halo 3 , the game that is more famous than the sea and the sun , being a total disappointment - i hate every Halo game even before it comes out.

Bioshock and Dragon Age for me. Never finished the former, finishing the latter was agony...

Red Dead Redemption. I bought it, played it for a day or so and loved it, but as soon as I got to Mexico it became a total grind and I just gave up caring. The missions are repetetive and there's too much travelling. Although it is pretty with excellent voice work, but that doesn't save it

Mass Effect, I don't get that game. Bought it when Mass Effect 2 came out, because I really like rpgs with guns like Fallout 3, Stalker series, Deus Ex and thought it would be fun but I have not even finished the first mission, it just sits there on my desktop.

I just passed on Oblivion to my sister as I couldn't get into it. Was really fun for a day, until I stood back and asked myself "why am I doing this?".

Took ages to get into battles, the amount of money earnt was pitiful (I'm sure you earn lots later on, but I didn't have the patience), and I was tired of getting arrested for accidentaly walking into the wrong room.

I can see why people love it so though.

Oh, yes, I don't even get why people love PoP: Sands of Time so much.

The platforming is a little more streamlined than the PSX Tomb Raiders, and the fighting is fluid but not very deep. And as far as I got, the two never intertwined.

Say whaaaaat? I had some complaints about Bioshock too but it handled like a dream and the weapon set was probably one of the best ever in a game in my opinion
See that's the problem, express an opinion about what you didn't like about a game the majority of gamers are ready to get down on their knees for and suddenly everyone is pointing out how wrong you are.

Oblivion and Fallout 3. I would just go ahead and say Bethesda but I have to credit them for NWN. I wouldn't say it is highly ranked on my favorites list but I did enjoy it. Morrowind was "eh". I have a hard time getting into Bethesda games alot.

I also lose interest quickly with most FPS's and alot of popular RTS's.

The only game I hate is WoW. I don't hate people that DO like it though. I just can't stand the game itself. Too many reasons to list off why.

The comment was driven by curiosity. I was just saying that I thought the controls handled very well and wondered how you thought the weapons sucked. You're entitled to your opinion I just don't understand it.

Most any war/soldier type of game, most recently Modern Warfare 2. I don't know, something about them just doesn't sit very well with me when it comes to concept or just simple enjoyability.
