Porn, what's your opinion?

hey, this should be pretty straight forward. What is your opinion on pornography? As a girl...it doesn't bother me in the slightest. I think some porn can be quite arousing actually. I'm interested to see what others think.

It's fine as long as it's watched and regulated to make sure no exploitation happens.

Anyone who thinks that porn is "objectifying" anyone doesn't realize that people are all objects anyway. Porn has also existed since the dawn of man, so it isn't like it's a new, terrible development, except now it's used for profit, which is cool in my book.

Porn can actually reduce the chances of you becoming a sex offender because it gives you an outlet for your sexuality. For that reason alone, I think it's good.

I used to watch porn a lot more, now I don't because I have a hot girlfriend who "stimulates" my imagination every day. No need for porn.

I'm not a huge fan of porn generally since i don't see much entertainment value in it, however as long as the people are consenting adults and know what they're doing its okay.
Also rape or fake rape scenarios aren't cool...

as for the "Think about the children" crap people spew, perhaps if you put parental controls on your computer you can stop kids from watching indecent material, its not hard to block out websites from a computer.

well, i think that it's a little disgusting, and it plays into the most primal part of humanity, but alas, so long as it doesn't break any laws, sadly it is a somewhat legit form of entertainment

My biggest problem with porn, as a lesbian, is that it seems that most lesbian porn is made for those who, by definition, cannot actually take part. The Japanese are slightly better about this, as they'll try to make the characters convey some actual emotion between scenes, except in anime where it's like an official law that if you have a movie with two female leads, one of them has to grow a dick somewhere.

I generally view porn as a masturbation aid, nothing else. Once every one or two days (assuming I didn't have any actual sex) I fire up my current pornsite of choice and watch a few clips while I get the job done.

Outside that, porn doesn't interest me much. In fact, watching any porn with other people present makes it funny, not arousing. My GF and I sometimes watch it on cable for the lulz if there's nothing else to watch on TV. Seriously, porn is likely some of the best comedy you'll see...
