Portal 2 delayed,

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is the first actual delay. First they ran the teaser, which had no date, then they set the date as 2011, then specified february, then they delayed it to april. Not really that much of a deal, honestly.

The point being..."Portal 2 is delayed yet again" is a tab bit misleading...

Unless I missed some huge delay or something

I'd rather them do it right than fast. The first was one of those rare successes because it was simple where it needed to be and just plain fun. If they just make a sequel because it was popular chances are it never can live up to the previous game.

Getting down the right amount of new content to warrant a new game but also not change it so much it pisses off fans is hard as hell.

this is only the first delay. NOT TO MENTION valve's shortest delay ever! hooray! man, what kinda jerk game developer would do something that would piss anyone off then make it so its impossible to stay mad at them?!

Delaying a game isnt bad... That just means that the game will propably be better and with more bugs and glitches fixed...

I've noticed that with more time valve takes, the better quality of play comes out of their games. Look at team fortress 2, I have to say it's the most balanced and entertaining FPS I've ever played.

To all who stated this is the first delay, wrong.

It was supposed to be released in 2010, sometime after E3, but they decided to push Portal 2 to 2011.
