Now I know there is probably already a topic about this but just in case well here it is :)

I want to know what you all thought about it, please don't flame others and always use spoiler tags where necessary! Just in case somebody who hasn't completed it or anything looks :)

What did you all think about the single player and what about the co-op? :)

It was a triumph.

...Sorry, it had to be done. But seriously, it improves on the original Portal in virtually every way. GLaDOS is more sarcastic than ever, and the new characters introduced are memorable and hilarious.
The plot is still relatively simplistic, but twists unpredictable and kept me hooked until the bizarre ending.
The puzzles are just as challenging (in other words, mostly pretty easy), but the new testing elements are combined in innovative ways that require a logical leap which is immensely satisfying when you finally get it.

The co-op campaign is lighter on story, but GLaDOS is still on top form, trying to pit the two robots against each other while teaching them how to use the testing elements from the single-player campaign. P-body and Atlas have a surprising amount of personality for (mostly) mute robots, with nuanced animations and cute vocalisations. The puzzles are much harder, but with two minds on the task it equates to the same difficulty.

I would give it 9.5/10.

It was alright, from what I've played.
It is pretty fun, and slightly better then Portal 1, but then again I thought Portal 1 was pretty decent, so I'd give it a 3.5/5 stars I guess.
Good, not great, but not terrible.

You're right. This thread has been done before...at least 100 times.
I loved portal 2, its got some of the best characters of any game in this generation of console/PC. Stephen Merchant is already one of my comedians in england so it was great that I didn't know he voiced Wheatly and I can happily say the game probably comes in my top 20 of all time.

But seriously. Stop with the Portal 2 threads now

Too short and easy.

Other than that, it was good.
Do you mean the single player or co-op too?

Portal 2 is a game that lots of people want to talk about, if you dont want to talk about it anymore then dont go on the threads :)

Pretty short, it could've been more challenging (which I hope they'll add to DLCs), co-op was hard and pretty fun, nice voice actors.

Very good, worth the money.

It was much better than the original and the original was really really really good. So I feel that Portal 2 is at least really x7 good.

I think it's Valve's greatest achievement yet. It took the promise of Portal and distilled the most perfectly paced and ingeniously written little game I've had the pleasure to play.

I'll have to give it due time and consideration, but at the moment I'm seriously considering it my all-time favourite.
