Actually, I have found a flaw in your thinking. Lies do exist. But the cake is a lie. THE CAKE, HAS BECOME A LIE. It is a lie, not a lie about cake. Therefore, there is no cake.

Not quite:

The cake is a lie
Lies exist
Therefore, the cake is a lie, not a cake
It is a lie about cake, not a cake in itself

But if the cake is a lie. The cake doesn't exist then. It's a lie about a cake, which does not exist. Since the lie DOES exist, then there is no cake. If there WAS a cake, the lie would become a truth. The OP's statement is an oxymoron then.
