It's watching people try to figure out how they're meant to keep going without the normal systems of civilisation then when things start collapsing because there's a reason for a lot of the systems they call for outside help from the old systems to prop them up then when it collapses somehow they don't realise and believe their grand plan only failed because the old system hated them so. What's novel is this was the "New" order people wanted. This is literally showing evidence the arguments being put forward and ideas being put forward will not work like people seem to think.
