and HOPEFULLY Guild Wars 2 BETA may start. Yay!
Yay!

Looking forward to AC:R, and I'm hoping that the PC version will see the light of day around the same period, and not half a year later.

I'll be picking up at least three games this fall, Halo:CE Anniversary, for a solid 30 dollars CAD, as well as AC: Revelations and SKYRIM! The last of which I've already got pre-ordered and will try my hardest to resist playing until I'm off for Christmas... mostly because I won't be able to put it down once I start >.> In my opinion though, Halo: CEA should be on your list.

But there is Uncharted 3, COD and Battlefield. COD and Battlfield are regarded as 2 of the highest regarded shooters on the market today.

Uncharted 3 - already mentioned I was interested in it
COD - I know several of my friends will get it for the PS3, and I'll just borrow it and beat the campaign for an afternoon (done that with most CODs)
Battlefield - not much interest, since I've played Bad Company 1 to death.

Ok then, there are games that you will play but no overly hyped for.
I guess everyone likes different things, which is of course fair enough.
What I should say is that the Games industry will probably rake in more money this Oct/Nov than any other year previously, but this probably happens alot of years I guess.

When is the Witcher 2 port coming out, November or December?

But anyways besides that one, the only one I'm really interested in playing coming out around that time is Batman Arkahm City which I will probalby only rent because I have no life so I can play lots in a short period of time.

Deus Ex 3 comes out next month, so since that will be out, then I agree October and November will be awesome simply because I can replay Deus Ex 3 again. (this is assuming that Deus Ex is anywhere near as good as the first deus ex or even the second.)

DARK MOTHERFUCKING SOULS and SR3 are the only games that matter really. The year as a whole is superior to most simply because From decided we were worthy, and will grace us with Dark Souls.

Excuse me, I need to call my bank, so I can have the money to pay for all these games.

DmC is set for a november release. It just raped your list, it sucks so bad that October and November have been ruined for me.
A bit harsh, no? It looks relatively the same as every other DMC game, all they really changed was his hair color (and it even turns white from time to time). At least wait until it comes out before crying foul.

Only things I see are: RAGE, Skyrim, and Saints Rows: The Third. The other games I either haven't played their previous games or just didn't like 'em.

OT: Yeah it seems pretty kickass.

"Greatest ever months of releases"? No offence, but I can think of far better months of releases than those two.

Having said that, I am very curious how Battlefield 3 and Skyrim will turn out. Not much else piques my interest, though.

The Witcher 2 is being ported? Thats news to me. Really good news at that. I was contemplating buying a new system just for that game, but if it has a console release then all the better. Unless of course they fuck up the controls, in which case I will be getting a new system, That way I will be ready for Diablo 3 when it comes out as well.

Arkham City and Uncharted 3 will be the ones I purchase. Then perhaps I'll wish for Battlefield 3 and Skyrim on Christmas.

I've heard The Witcher 2 handles much better with a pad even on the PC.

Haven't played it myself, but judging by the first game it seems fairly plausible.

It will be the greatest October/November ever because I will still be playing the copy of Deus Ex: Human Revolution I got at the end of August (Though I do hope to make room for Arkham City and the Silent Hill HD Collection before the year is out).
