Hmm, I think I'll post some Alestorm, since they're from Scotland, which is where I was born.

You win this thread.

I think I'll post Architects from Brighton, which is a little south from me.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=edZQ8Br7soA K-os from Canada my favourite Canadian artist. I am Canadian if it wasn't obvious.

Edit: Also the sonic boom six that someone posted is really good and the OP's bands are as well. I am going to have to pick up some new CDS.

Dream Theater, half the members were also born in the same state as I was.

From left to right: John Myung (Bassist), John Petrucci (Guitarist), James LaBrie (Singer), Jordan Ruddess (Keyboard), and Mike Portnoy (Drummer).

theres lot of welsh band loated in holyhead,
No, not Welsh-speaking, so you're okay there. But seriously, listen and you'll hear what I mean. It's Welshpunk, different, extremely awesome.

Sorry, I'm new and don't know the tags. :(
I like these guys. I'll have to keep an ear out to see if they tour near me. Fantastic topic by the way. I do promotions in Cincinnati, OH and this is a great idea. I'm going to have to check out all the bands here at some point in time. I love diversity when it comes to music.

Here in Cincy, it's hard to pick a favorate, but I'm going to have to go with Lunapollo off the top of my head. Check out the track- 'razor burn' it's effin sweet. Add them if you like what you hear.

This should be more specific like 'from your region/city/area' Especially those of us from Canada, USA, or Britan which is let's be honest the vast majority of the escapist. I mean I could say Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Ramones, and Rage Against the Machine. All from different regions and eras.

I'm gonna go with

[a href=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-NbXGjXT4Q]The Faint[/a] as they are from my hometown.
