The blood is real blood by the way. I don't know what animals exactly it came from, but it was cheaper than fake blood.

Thanks I followed this [http://zombies.tomwalsham.com/armbone.html] here recipe.

Basically, make a second layer of skin by applying layers of tissue paper and liquid latex (can be bought at hobby stores). Then you cut the second skin open (you should construct the skin with a weak spot intended for this) and jam a white candle that you've prepared (made a suitable angle on one end, and make it look like like broken bone on the other) up under the second layer of skin. Use make-up to create some bruising (I think I might have gone a bit overboard with the bruising on that picture, but there was no time for finesse on that particular day)

The second picture is from when I tested it a few days prior to the party.

That's pretty awesome! I might try that this Halloween, considering I've done the same thing for a few years.
