Enjoy. Or scream in terror. Or whatever.

I'm the drunken gentleman to the right.

And an old halloween costume I'm quite proud of (how many of you get it?) :D

Here is me on Halloween. I have some underwater shots, but they are on another computer.
The water was also between 0-4°C that dive, at 72' (my gear does not have metric for some reason)
There are also some other pictures of me on this site, I won't tell you where though.

I don't usually look so skeletal, the lighting in this room sucks.

Caught a bigger fish than that guy ^

May I ask where you caught that cod?
Looks like a 7-10 kg thing.
Also: Did you catch it with a "Jukse"?
It was caught in Norway in one of the fjords I visited. It was 8pound, no idea what that is in kg >.>
Can't remember the type of lure I was using at the time... I used alot of different ones in that week.
Yes! Spot on! I figured it looked like a Norwegian fjord, you see.
And the fishing equipment showing in the background (the shiny sickle-shaped thing) is called a "jukse", and is uniquely Scandinavian, which added to my suspicions.

I missed gravely on the weight though...
8 pounds is ca. 4 kgs.
Tackle wise, I'm pretty useless with the names and stuff. That makes sense though, because we bought loads from this fishing shop in Tromso(there's an accent on there somewhere)
They also had loads of guns in that shop, which was the first time I've ever held a gun ;o

Tbh though, the trip was a little disappointing. We were told catching 20 - 40 pound cod was quite common in Norway. Biggest that was caught was 13.
Ah, yes, it's spelled Tromsø.

I've never caught anything heavier than 20 pounds myself; but I'm more of a trout man. I don't particularly like fishing in the sea.
I imagine if you went to Lofoten during the fishing season, or "Lofotfiske" as it's called, you might have some chances of catching really big cod. Otherwise, catching cod that are more than 20 pounds isn't very common (Unless you've got some industrial equipment.).

What you really want though, is the halibut. It lives on the bottom, and can grow to more than 600 pounds. Of course, catching a 600 pound halibut is very rare. I've never fished for halibut myself, nor have I caught any, but it seems bloody exciting to have something like that on the hook.

Eh, its up to you. Both are on the internet to stay already. Plus, the source is more personal as its on my myspace. I just thought it was funny you caught me while I had that one in by accident for a couple secs.
There's still one left, but I can't edit it.
It took me a minute to figure that one out.
