Well here's a video I made for my Theory of Knowledge class

I think the teachers even kept it to use in class.

I do reviews on youtube and I appear in all of them (rather than just having voice over). I can't just post a link to my channel so here's the first part of one of my most popular reviews: The Last Airbender:

Well, by all means, check out some of my theatre work.

To watch the whole thing from the beginning (though I've only got the first quarter uploaded so far): click here [http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4pfHjMRadhjY646AlHRYzz_o-H1U4aL4&feature=mh_lolz].

In the meantime, check this... that's me as John Rokesmith, and my dad as Mr. Boffin.

This past summer, I played one of the most popular characters in the history of literature.

To watch the whole thing (again, whenever I finally finish uploading it), just start here [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3NZxWjQ8QEc&list=PL4pfHjMRadhgyt8MlGaXXouYS9TQYVxjo].

Or, just watch the awesomest scene in the play (I show up at 7:12):

Oh, and incidentally, if you like Falstaff, check out "The Merry Ponies of Equestria [http://www.fimfiction.net/story/77796/the-merry-ponies-of-equestria]," my ongoing fanfiction project in which Sir John Falstaff finds himself in the land of MLP:FiM.

Holy crap I finally get a chance to share this amazingness with you all :D

Back when ODST was being released there was a live action trailer for it so we decided to "parody" it for our Web Design class. I think this was filmed in a couple hours with like an hour of post, so we didn't get time to add any visual effects.

Yes, it's bad and cheesy but it's awesome so enjoy.

EDIT: Oh, and I'm one of the aliens getting killed and the cameraman for most of it.

I'm playing a character named Philip Logan in this video.

This is also just a shameless plug for my Call of Cthulhu-based web series. So check it out if you want.

This was a late-at-night live jam we recorded on Friday night/Saturday morning. It's rough in spots but there was absolutely no safety nets or rehearsal for this performance, just doing whatever whenever. This is also a very new thing we've been getting into and we're working out a lot of kinks. I think this was the third time we've recorded like this. We have a few tracks of our other sessions on Soundcloud.
There was another hour long session that we accidentally discarded instead of saving to the site, but we still have an audio recording of it which I'm very excited to get a copy soon.
I'm in the bottom-left corner.

I'm told by one of the others in this video, "The part around the 48:00 mark is sploogtastic," in an email. Who am I to argue?

EDIT: Any tips on actually posting the video instead of the link?

This was me agreeing to jump a waist high fence with a bag full of books and six cans of come in my hand. I was acting big as I cleared that fence like a horse on numerous occasions.
Still can't work it up to jump that fence. My leg was in a state for days, but I took it in good form

Wow, my voice is REALLY annoying. I guess a lot of people say that because they're not used to hearing it when they're not actuslly speaking but still.

I was playing the totally not feeding Nami. She was new at the time, shut up.
I am also in this video playing the Irelia that TOTALLY didn't throw.

Damn I need a new microphone.

I certainly wish I could, but I'm afraid that everything with me in it is too embarrassing...

Simple enough. Let's see what videos that you guys have been in, whether as stars, or in the background. No matter how embarrassing or stupid...
Well, Fuck.

Okay, I'll play along.

This is me singing "If Ever I would leave you" from the play Camelot for a music festival.

This footage was taken four years ago, I've lost a lot of weight since then.

As for embarrassing...

This is a movie I shot with a friend of mine five years ago. People laugh. I find it genuinely frightening. Whether it's the acting that's scary or the movie itself, I can't tell yet.

I'd post that speedrun video I did for Sonic 3......

But after Screwattack decided to nix user made content, it vanished from the interwebs and I can't be arsed to re-upload it now that the competition I did the speedrun for is over.

This is me practicing getting headshot.

Neat bit of home movie SFX... Some suggestions for future iterations:

- Rig a squib to burst at the theortical exit wound and shoot a mist / splatter directly back. Normally I'd use a stacked 1) clothes/wig/skin 2) condom w/ fake blood 3) firecracker 4) protective hardplastic plate taped underneath... Might not want to use a firecracker on your head though, dangerous for ears - could experiment with pressurized "blister" popped with a wire snare someone offcamera pulls...

- The falling arc of blood was good, but without the first order splatter ^ it looked a bit off, hence the suggestion.

- AfterEffects can do a digital squib or muzzle flash in post production, just take time to account for the reflected light.

- Lastly, acting wise, it was decent, but to mimic what happens with a headshot, beyond the penetrating force of the bullet acting as a directional bias, the body's muscles instantly relax and fall limp. I'd recommend doing that on a mat you can bluescreen out.

Hope that's helpful if you're going to do more shooting.
Thank you for the tips. I should mention that is just B-roll and there's no acting, that's just me talking to the FX guys standing around. We're just testing the blood spurt. We didn't have that sheet in the back when we actually rolled either.
