When the zombies attack yes i said when not if, there will most likely be 3 types of people.

1) Badasses- the people who as soon as the outbreak occurs grab an SMG or assault rifle and katana and kill hordes of zombies on their way to their personal fortress in some remote place(ME! )

2) Zombie Chow- the people that say "what is that?" when u say have you seen 28 weeks later? These people will most likely wander the streets in confusion and get run down and infected thus the name "zombie chow".

3) WannaBe Heros- These people know nothing about zombies and had no idea they were coming but they will try and fight anyway thus getting themselves killed because using a flamethrower on a zombie just doesn't work now u just have a zombie thats on FIRE! These people will most likely die but a lucky few will make it out alive.

As long as now one does the whole "I've been bitten but I'll just hide it under my sleave whilst no-one's looking and it'll all be fine. Yes...fine" plot then we're in the clear.

Know enough to stay alive, smart enough not to take on the zombies when avoidable.

Here Here. Alough there probably won't that many zombies in Alaska..for long. (they would either freeze and get wacked, or be shot by one of our many hunters). Plus, we only have a population of 600,000 people in the entire state, so at 1 person per square mile, if you ran into the woods, you aren't likely to run into a zombie.
Otherwise, Badass- when in doubt, burn 'em out. With bullets.

OT to avoid moderated: I would sit in my house, probably cry myself to sleep knowing everyone is dying fast, pray a tad, then man up, find myself some weapons and ammo and reenact some zombie video games! Bring. It. ON!

What about those who are already in a personal fortress in some remote location?
Also: Does your personal fortress have a mines and factories to produce more ammo?

Well, I think having them on fire would help, the fire would feed on them, burning away their flesh and muscles, without the muscles they'll be incapable of moving, though I'm not sure how long it would take. Anyway, putting them on fire from inside a fireproof fortress is sure to help you outlast them.

Which are you going to be?

Depends on what kind of zombies they are...

If they're caused by a virus which turns the living into zombies, I don't know what I'd be, just someone trying to survive I guess.

If it's the kind of zombies which used to be dead, but are summoned back to life/undeath by a necromancer, I'll just have to make I'm that necromancer, otherwise I'm screwed since I live right next to a graveyard, I'd probably be one of the first victims (On the bright side I can go right to beating sunflowers).
