hmm...khedive's character sounds like an interesting match to mine.... a cowardly ex-officer and a rough and tumble travelling ragamuffin against the federation. afraid of llamas? that could be a problem...

ALright, I edited Bos' height and his weapon. He's now 7'3 and his weapon is just a concrete slab on a chain

kenny, unfortunately it'll basically be what I deam as "appropriate down time".
So will we need to be inactive or just wait carrying on reguardless. Or a mixture of the two?

Kenny, I figure if the damage is superficial, you can hide/take cover/stay out of combat, if its serious, you'll have to rest for a longer period of time. Not to long, but basically just long enough to know you've recovered, and if the group is jerkish and decides to abandon you, you might need to catch up.

7dollarbill, perfect revisions.

MartnRendrs, I don't really have a problem with one more player as we haven't ACTUALLY started yet. The turn structure goes as follows.

PedroSteckecilo makes a post with a header like so...

"Game Masters Turn"

Then all of the players have a chance to react/take actions of their own. I will not post another "Game Master Turn" until everyone has either taken their turn, or is obviously not going to. I intend to TRY and keep it going with at least One Post a Day but if everyone can post, we can have more than one. Basically My Response is the key factor that divides up turns.

Players post their own "Turn" by typing TURN before their post. This is any Attacks, Defenses, Evasions or Important Actions you wish to make. Asking questions, planning, In Character Speaking does not count as a Turn, but try to keep it realistic, if two characters are a long ways away, they can't really talk/plan together now can they? But I'm not really going to be to hard on this.

No worries Alotak, just make sure you Read the Rules, edit your Character Profile before I post the opening, and keep posting whenever you can.

And with that, I shall begin, everyone who has posted a character up until this point is in here's the Introduction, and I apologize if I suck at running this, I'm pretty new at Forum RPing myself.

INTRODUCTION

The town of Purgatory?s Gate lies deep in the Southern Wastes, far from any civilized place and almost far enough to be free from the influence of Syndicates and the oppression of the Federation. The towns buildings have been constructed over the bones of an old world city, ramshackle sheet metal and wood tacked sloppily onto ancient concrete walls, giving the entire town the appearance of a slum or garbage dump. Being the only sign of civilization for miles, it is a fairly well inhabited bit of land, with traders, bounty hunters, bandits and other slovenly folk moving in and out of the town every day. The primary gathering point in the city is a dinjy little dive known as the Rat and Rotgut Saloon, a three story den of debauchery and drunkenness.

The interior of the tavern is as disheveled as the street, a poorly maintained and ramshackle mess full of pre-war knickknacks and items likely discarded from travelers passing through. Several women, young and old, far too skinny or far too fat, dressed skimpy, dirty outfits watch with lost eyes from the balconies. The bartender himself is a tall, sharp looking man dressed in a sensible shirt and a pinstripe vest. He is balding slightly and wears a pair of smudged spectacles on the bridge of his long nose. The rest of the tavern is populated largely by local drunkards and the occasional more affluent traveler, this type usually marked out by their better than average clothes and haughty attitude.

You have all come here for your own reasons, whether you are on the run from someone, whether searching for something, or whether you are simply passing through, you have decided to stay for the same reasons. Rumor has persisted that somewhere within the area of this town lies one of the largest Black Technology cache?s the world has ever seen, a sure ticket to wealth and power for whoever finds it. To those of a more altruistic bent, this presents one of the greatest dangers the world may ever know, as this black tech could be anything from a simple cache of automatic weapons, to a lost nuclear weapon, somehow neglected and unfound for all these years.

All of you have heard this rumor, and all of you have come to this town searching for information, you all have your own reasons to seek these ancient items and you all know, of course, that the town tavern, the ?Rat and Rotgut? is the most likely place to find useful information.

Here we are, everyone can feel free to post their dramatic entrance but you all should congregate at the tavern before I post the opening of the next Round tomorrow. Feel free to have your characters chat etc. Just don't get in any fights or leave the tavern until I post again.

turn: the old man sat in the corner thinking of his old town not wanting to draw attention to himself he drank the shot of wiskey that was in front of him.

the jukebox was turned on, "she aint nothing but a hound dog" was playing, the jukebox was a very old anitque, one of the main lures of the "rat and rotgut" in fact, that and the talk of this town having a very large ammount of black tech weapons. suddenly his mood grew sour.

"TURN THAT JUKEBOX OFF" he yelled and ordered another shot of wiskey

[spoiler/]hows that for an introduction[/spoiler]

Striding into the Tavern, Nathan Tieksh draws all eyes in the room to him. he strides purposely over to the bar and orders the strongest, most expensive drink they have on offer, and takes it to a table in the far corner. he mulls over where this hidden cache could be, and sips slowly at his drink...

and with that im really gone, dont reply to me, just if anything major happens have my character follow, but otherwise leave him to his drink, ill be back at some point, just ill be gone for a WHILE

TURN:
Hiding down an ally opposite of the Tavern John notices a pair of traders stroll in already semi-drunk seeing the perfect opportunity for a steal John follows keeping his distance until they sit down.
Sneakily making his way over to their table John notices four more people go and join them they notice John slowly approaching. Annoyed he makes himself look casual so he makes his way to the bar and sitting at it making tedious small-talk with the bartender.
