My favourite game of all time is Shadow of the Colossus. Its a brilliant creation and one of the best experiences I have played in a game. Roaming the vast wilderness, searching for colossi and taking them down with nothing but a sword, a bow and your horse Agro. I've played the game numerous times and its one of those games where the more you play it the more fun it is.

I don't play it as often as I should be. Other games I love is the Half Life series, Portal, Red Dead Redemption and currently Battlefield:BC2 but when I look back Shadow of the Colossus stands tallest.

Every Ninja Gaiden game, from the NES ones (I have all three) to the 360 ones, and everything in between. Also, Megaman 1-5 on NES, and the first three Megaman X games.

Pokemon - all of them. No games can hold my attention, draw me in and keep me begging for more like these can. Incidently, yesterday I got Pokemon White!

I like Shadow of the Colossus too.
But The TimeSplitters series always stands out to me because of nostalgia.

Warcraft 3 is my favorite game ever. Even if you've completed the single player campaign and grown tired of multiplayer, with the World editor, there's millions of custom games to choose from making the replay value of the game nigh infinite. Dota is the most popular, of course, but there's so much out there, from single player rpgs to multiplayer tower defense maps.

Damn, how could I forget! That game always went down well with friends. I played the monkey most of the time. I wish that the current team will hopefully finish helping out Crysis 2 and actually start on Timesplitters 4.

For me, Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Vesperia(ps3 version sadly, damn you Namco Bandai!). I like ToS a little more I guess because I have pretty much memorized lines from the game.

Pokemon. FUCKING. GOLD.
Every Metal Gear. Especially my Peace Walker PSP.
Soon to be the very proud owner of every Cardcaptor Sakura game in existence.

Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones.
Evolution Worlds.

I love them all. These are those that come to mind instantly. :p

Grand Theft Auto IV, Lugaru, Overgrowth, Half-life 2, Garry's Mod, Two Worlds II, Left 4 Dead (1,2), Assassin's Creed (1,2), Crysis Warhead, Alli Skate, [PROTOTYPE], The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Mafia II, Trine, Postal, Minecraft, and Super Meat Boy.
Pretty good list I must say. Most outstanding one there is Oblivion. If we collected the total of hours lost in that game from everyone it could well be over twenty years.

In the order that they pop into my head

Chrono Trigger, Cave Story, Akumajou Densetsu, Kirby's Dreamland 2 & 3, Okami, Valkyria Chronicles, Eternal Sonata, Yoshi's Island, Phantasy Star 4, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles, Final Fantasy 3-10 and 13, Ranger X, Ninja Gaiden (NES), Bayonetta, Vanquish, Devil May Cry, Threads of Fate, Wind Waker, Majora's Mask, Yume Nikki, Shadow of the Colossus, Flower, Pixeljunk Eden, Street Fighter III, Tales of Phantasia, Terranigma, Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, Prey, Bioshock, Marathon, Yars Revenge, Space Invaders, Sea Quest, Galaxian, Super Mario RPG, Paper Mario, Hotel Dusk, Dissidia, Megaman X2 and X4, Chzo Mythos, 1213, Pokemon Gold, Portal, Resident Evil 1-5, Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, Starfox and Starfox 64, Banjo Kazooie

I could probably think of more given time, but I have to stop myself somewhere, as you can see I love A LOT of games, from a huge variety of genres. What can I say, I have a huge passion for the medium. I would give all of these games top marks in their respective genres.
