Well the last games I have been playing are Kirby's Epic Yarn, Pokemon black, SMT Devil Survivor 2, and Ico. Here are my favorite tracks from these games.
Well that'd be Alan Wake and Witcher 2 for me most recently, haven't finished it yet but I've also been playing Anachronox on the side ever since I picked it up from GOG.
Anachronox is a game I really wish I'd played earlier. This game came out in 2001 and still pulls a few neat visual tricks that have me impressed, I can only imagine how jaw-droppingly stunning a visual experience it must have been when it first came out. I'd heard about it at the time but for some reason it's just one of those games I never ended up playing till now.
I actually couldn't think of any outstanding tracks from MW3 but this is the first one from the score of the game when I searched Modern Warfare 3 in Youtube so I'll go with that
My favourite track from Pokemon White is Opelucid City, which differs greatly from the Pokemon Black version, which makes sense because there is a big difference in the city in both games
And for those that want to hear the difference between White and Black...
And finally, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, a game I've played probably double the amount of the other two recently, so I'll post two songs.
Haven't beat it yet but I still love this song:
The other recent games were Skyrim and Jumping Flash 2, which don't have awesome songs. Maybe the Skyrim fight song, I use to like it but now when I hear it I just get annoyed and think "what's after me this time..."
Also, while I did technically play through both SCP-087 and SCP-087-B between Dead Space 2 and Terraria, those two don't really have much in the way of music (unless you count the combined sounds of terrified whimpering and urination as "music"), so I skipped them.
The one who actually commited the crime... IS YOU! No alibi. no justice, no dream, no hope! It's time to pay for your crimes! Take That!
HYPER COMBO K.O!
Oh and the menu music for the Lulu patch in League of Legends was freaking epic. Maybe the in-game music is ok too, I keep it off most of the time since I either listen to my own music or play over Skype with my friend...
He plays one beastly Akali I can tell you that... Like the time when he flashed over a wall into the whole enemy team to get one kill before getting dogpiled in a sea of random spells.
He was just going for the awesome factor at that point, I just mosey around with Riven and try to explain to my team why Riven does not initiate team fights ever. One game maybe someone will pick a tank for once XP
I could post here all day and fill the thread with songs from Blazblue. For now I will just link one of my favorites and maybe edit others in later. This was the opening for Calamity trigger, also one of my favorite songs to play.
