The Sims - when the screen goes blue...

KIDDING!

Movies
Fists of Fury (a.k.a. The Chinese Connection)
The Corrupter
The Professional

Anime
You're Under Arrest (OAV)
Angel Beats - one of the biggest Whiskey Tango Foxtrot endings EVAR!
Kanon (2005)
Cowboy Bebop - Bang...
Escaflowne

Games
The last two editions of Wild Arms - because no matter what you did...
Legend of Legaia 1 & 2 - to be more specific, one left me melodramatic, and two left me pissed.

I know exactly what you mean. I tried reading the Harry Potter books as slow as possible.

I also got the same thing after Yu Yu Hakusho

I know exactly what you are talking about. I would have to say the end of the Ender quartet. It was an amazing series that I loved and enjoyed for a long time.

Darker than Black. When it ended a piece of me died. T_T. Same thing happened with Code Geass.

PSD? I've never been inflicted. I come back to the things I love but I certainly don't mope about after its done. Happy ending? Great! Gritty, depressing ending? Great!

Nothing phases me except bad acting and bad writing.

i get Psd very easily and therefore get it a lot, which sucks.

for books: definitely the harry potter series. I don't know how to explain this, but i guess it was like a symbol of childhood years in a way. waiting for the next book, reading it , waiting another year. the harry potter series was definitely the worst for me.

for series- i cant believe no one has said friends yet, this was my first for series. felt dead after the ending.

honourable mention goes to- spaced, black books.

movies- LOTR, toy story films.

i dont watch anime, so i wouldnt know about that.

The series of books set in the Six Duchies (including the ones set in the Rain Wilds and Bingtown) though technically those aren't over even though the new series isn't nearly as good (there are as of the moment 11 books with another 1 to be released)

I got depressed for a while when Gurren Lagann ended. I didn't watch any other anime for about a week, but I got better.

Stargate SG1 & SGA gave me it, tho Babylon 5 was the worse, it had sucked me into the story so badly I was truely sad to see it finished :(

None, I go "that was a great series" and I move on. Why get depressed over the end of something rather than celebrate what it did for you, that's why my funeral's going to be held at the circus.

Every single book, game and movie that has even one likeable character in it. I really get immersed in the worlds, assumedly because mine is so average. Only problem is that I have to leave eventually.

The fact that Sluggy Freelance has been switching on and off between stuff I care about and stuff I really don't (4U City being what I care about and the Minion Master being one of the stupidest plotlines Sluggy has had in my opinion which is saying a lot because even it is totally readable and very entertaining) I feel like I'm going through post-series depression. Also I just finally finished watching Death Note in its entirety. I know that I'm a bit late to that game but whatever Death Note has a horrendously depressing ending thus worsening that depression. Most of the series that I enjoy are currently just in a bit of a low-point, but I definitely know what post-series depression is like. I finished the last Harry Potter book 3 days after release and thought at the very end "So that's it, huh? That's the last of Harry we'll ever get besides the getting-worse-and-worse movies? Despite the ball-bustingly awesome ending I'm sad now..." And yes, those were more or less my exact thoughts. And yes, I liked the epilogue of the 7th book.

Firefly. Had so much potential. Serenity feels to rushed to wrap everything up.

I had the same experience with the Full Metal Alchemist manga, the Satan 666 manga and currently is going to happen with the Lucifer and Biscuit Hammer manga, it happens alot when i watch movies too, not too forget the Cowboy Bebop anime (which was awesome). I get the same kind of sadness when i know that i've missed so much beautiful movies, music, anime, games and manga that i can never catch up with it again, this makes me sad.

The beatiful thing about serenity though, is that it could easily lead to a new series as the alliance isn't actually shown to fall or lose power, just a certain amount of credibility and a top assassin.
It's not as thoroughly wrapped up as it first seems.

Yeah, I caught that from Elfen Lied as well. However, I read the manga first and was more satisfied with the anime's ending.

Mahoromatic also lead to PSD. Messed me up for a week... did the same to my brother... and our neighbor.

As for video games: Suikoden II. It was my first proper RPG and it was great, but it was too short. It wasn't the end of the series, but it did set the bar for the rest of them a little too high imo.

I'm also looking forward to PSD when Pokemon ends... although it will probably be more relief than depression.

The Wire. I watched it, loved it, and was sad it was over. Plus, it ruined everything else out there because they just sucked in comparison to The Wire. After watching it, I gave up on Heroes, Prison Break, Lost and Fringe.
Yup... this is exactly how I feel. All I can do is to watch The Wire over and over again. It's like being with the love of your life and you look back at your exes (like Heroes and CSI) and just say to yourself: What the fuck was I thinking? Why would I even be with them?

I am married to The Wire.
