I'd recommend pretty much any of those games. Especially Tales of Symphonia, any of the Pokemon and Zelda, Killing Floor, Far Cry 2, and Shift 2: Unleashed.
Why is Golden Sun not in that list? D:
Because sadly, I do not own Golden Sun. I first played it with a friend as a kid, and I later borrowed it from him in order to play it again.

Here's part of my game collection, didn't feel like rummaging around to get everything.
Ignore the movies.
Doesn't include any of my multiplayer games since I keep all those in the case on top of all the anime.
Yes I taped the cases to my wall, unfortunately some don't want to stay up and are kind of tilted.
If know know of any games that would fit my taste feel free to recommend them.

You can find anything, on the internet! However I am surprised when I looked it up on amazon it was more expensive than gamestop.

Pfffffft I'm so jealous and impressed!
What about this then.

Yes, that top shelve is all PS3.
Doesn't look quite as impressive...seems like my collection well...minus the Dreamcast game
Though I do have a TON of handheld games in it's place with like 5 DC games and a bunch of SNES games and a load of ps1 games, can't get a picture it's on the other side of the country at the moment, but I do have a lot.

i do have a lot more systems than this, but all the rest is up my nan's place.

Snes, saturn, n64 ect

It also doesn't help that this pic is zoomed out a lot, it makes it look small.

How is That Lord of the Rings MMO, anyways?
Better than most MMOs out there. And free, which is another big plus.

Anyways, I, like lots of others of you, have too many to justify the effort of getting up and counting off them all, so here are the modern/titles that I'm fond of that I currently have:
Mass Effect 2
Uncharted 2
Portal 2
MGS 1,2,3 &4
FF VI, VII, and XIII
CoD: Black Ops
Burnout Paradise
Split/Second
GT5
MLB 10: The Show
Valkyrie Profile
Legend of Dragoon
And basically every pokemon GBA/DS game that's part of the main series.

I'd really recommend Legend of the Dragoon and Valkyrie Profile to anyone who hasn't played them. Really great set of games.

Of course! No self respecting Dreamcast owner goes through life without JSR!

Killer 7?

Ahhhhh you've found my weakness! The GC collection is, alas, nothing to write home about. Wario Ware and Paper Mario are the only two exclusive games I really like, and Timesplitters 2 is the only cross-platform one.

EDIT: And the less said about the few PS2 games the better - I have 7 and 5 are Singstar games.
You were an Xbox guy last generation, then?
Yeah. I had a PSOne, but then I got an N64 (and later a Dreamcast) and grew into a really weird fanboyish hate of the PS2 that only a 12 year old could have. I totally regret it now since I missed out on so many great games - I eventually bought one for the wife last year which is why I have so many Singstar games, but I don't know if I'll ever build a proper collection. I've been thinking about picking up a PS3 recently, but I'm not really in a position to afford one unfortunately.

I'd literally give an arm and a leg to have a proper current gen collection - I have a fair amount of 360 games, but they're a complete hodge-podge of quality games and random crap. Given that the 360 has been out 5 years (?) or so and I've still not graduated yet this generation of consoles will probably be a lost generation to me - no Wii, no PS3, jumble of 360 games. I have Bayonetta though, so thats all ok.

Also is that stack on the left Dreamcast games? I always like that no matter how spread out your collection goes (like the N64 at your nans) everyones Dreamcast travels with them :D

Don't get me wrong it is impressive but it just looks kinda small, the other guy I get the feeling he's a real collector...I'm gonna have to do some thinking and list mine, I only have my DS and PSP games with me unfortunately

I shall add a post soon

Well, i hate 50hz gaming, because the flicker really does my eyes in. So that's why i have my Dreamcast with me, and not my N64. I have Ocarina of Time on the cube anyway.

For nearly every ps2 game that i've got that doesn't support the 60hz refresh rate, i have a cheat disc to force it into 60hz. It works wonders with persona 4, as the battle system in 50hz is painfully slow.

So yeah, the refresh rates stop me from being a collector.

You give me more credit than I deserve. The only stuff really (bar the PS2) that I've acquired recently are the Saturn games - everything else is just stuff I was fortunate to own growing up. I'm no more a collector than some 9 year old who has a PS3 bought by their parents as a first console - I'm just super lucky that when I asked my parents not to throw shit out they listened (except 99% of my PSOne games which I'm pr. upset about), and now I have my own place I've got it all together and set up.

Granted I've spent a lot over the last year on old games, but almost all are plugging holes in my that *did* get thrown out or misplaced - for instance the only reason I have a boxed version of Ocarina of Time is that I lost my own OoT and had to rebuy it. I guess you could say I just started collecting now and I have a nice base to build off. I'm definitely focusing on the Dreamcast and Mega Drive/Genesis ahead of other stuff, though.

Is the 50hz really that bad? I found the N64 generally *does* look like crap, but I don't know if I can attribute that to it being 50hz as opposed to just games stretching to accommodate wide-screen badly. 16-Bit and earlier consoles look pixellated, but again thats only because they're displayed on a higher resolution screen.

EDIT: That said, I AM horrible at noticing differences in quality. I'm still not sure how much I appreciate the difference between HD and standard definition TVs :(

It depends on if you want your games perfect, and for them to play as they should intent to.

It's unnoticeable in some games (wider borders, less flicker), but in other games such as final fantasy X it's absolutely terrible, because square couldn't be bothered to optimise it right.

Also, every game before the dreamcast era is 50hz if you live in pal territories. So black borders, and slower games speed aplenty. It really puts me off from collecting. Considering the US has perfect 60hz full speed copies, while us filthy Europeans don't.

I'm in England (PAL) which is why I mentioned the N64 and 16-Bit consoles. I didn't realise you meant you dislike it from a "purist" point of view - I know plenty of people who have old CRT TVs around just so they can plug old consoles in, and I can sympathise with the view that some of the joy of collecting is taken away if the authenticity is gone.

Yeah, that's exactly my point.

It's like owning a rare beatles vinyl, and the songs skip a bit when you play it.
