I loved it as a kid, still have some of the toys rumbling around in my room. Every now and again when I find myself at home alone I'll dig out the morphing device (I guess that's what they were called) and strike their cut away pose and shout "It's morphin' time!" :3

I had a modest amount of exposure to Power Rangers as a kid, which helped me to grow up to be awesomer than I would be otherwise. Not much, though. Recently watching Linkara's "History of Power Rangers" series has given me a fresh appreciation for the series and its cultural impact, as well as the relative merits of each different season.

The power rangers is a lost art form and we have yet to or probably ever see in new form again. They actually started re showing the original series a year or two back and we haven't heard a bloody word from them since!

I liked the first two seasons, didn't get to see 3 (Ninja?), then it just got ridiculous with Zeo and In Space and stuff. I do recall a sweet ep in like season 6 or something where the current red ranger was dressed in a brown cloak, swinging off chandeleers in a saloon and running out onto the wild west-esque street...

Anyone know any good parodies? The best that come to my mind are Mighty Moshin' Emo Rangers and Super Freakin' Parody Rangers on Newgrounds (utterly disgusting 15 year old humour).

Look at Amy Jo Johnson, after power rangers, she became an actress.

One of them is a gay porn actor, another is in jail for murder and another is an undefeated mixed martial arts fighter.

Uhh, the gay porn is a lie, as is the murder. Jason David Frank is indeed undefeated MMA, and Ricardo Medinas Jr., who was Cole in Wild Force, is indeed a stripper.

Also, I've been a massive fan of PR sicne the beginning. My favorite series so far was the incredible RPM from 2009. Best. Season. Ever. IMO.

REALLY looking forward to Power Rangers Samurai.


also, while we're on the topic of PR, who likes the Japanese series Power Rangers has been getting source footage from since the start, Super Sentai? It's been going sicne the 70's, and airs alongside Kamen Rider. I've been really enjoying Tensou Sentai Goseiger.
