At first I thought this was going to be a thread about Futurism the art movement, but this is far more entertaining.

I would hope that in the future people will look back at our over-the-top we-are-all-going-to-die everything-is-terrible way of communicating with each other through news and the internet and so on and laugh.

Hm, not so sure our perdictions will be laughed at as much. Since back then, they really didn't know how far we would get. Now we can sort of get the idea.

Wow, some interesting vids, it sure is easy to laugh at ideas from decades past. I wonder how life will be in a few decades from now and will we look back and think our ideas were silly then?
