Yeah, so it's that time again for many (well, some) of us...finals! Be it high school, college, or some ruthlessly obnoxious middle school even (hey, mine had 'em), we all know and love them. And by love them, I mean frequently want to punch them in the face.

So with this in mind, what's your most successful or just most fun way of uncoiling your wound-up nerves during the finals season or in general? Mine would have to be swimming laps...there's nothing like a whole-body burn and muted but constant feeling of being one timing error away from a nice mouthful of pool water to take your mind off those niggling little problems like your anthropology essay.

Share and share alike, peoples.

Naps, exercise and video games are how I deal with being stressed. I also end up talking with people, letting things out relieves stress.

Crank up the metal and sit down to play a videogame or what-not.

I gotta tell ya, there's nothing more calming than "DIE ************ DIE ************ DIE!"

Ahhh...

I usually go on the escapist, jam on my bass, go on a bike ride, or listen to music.

EDIT: That or I go in a private place and scream my lungs out. Then pass out on the ground.

I generally play Harvest Moon, unless I'm stressed and angry. Then I reach for whatever RPG with lots of monsters to kill that I have at hand.

Playing guitar.

Now let's see how big a chain we can make of quotes of people who do all these things.

Is it any irony that I used to strum out short tunes on the family guitar to destress?

Lord of the Rings Online works wonders for this. Just RPing with friends at the Prancing Pony. Yup. Maybe drink some tea as well.

Gaming, TV, writing, drawing, IM'ing with friends and sex.

It also helps that I don't have any class on Wednesdays and Fridays, so I often get to do a couple of them. Gaming is reserved for the weekend though.
