Preorder ME3 on Origin - Get free BF3

Cha-ching. I held off on BF3 because I'm not super into multiplayer gaming but this is a sweet deal for me (read: people who don't buy the conspiracy theory that Origin is stealing my identity)

Didn't see a thread about this and figured I'd share for those interested.

Huh, not a bad incentive actually, I've had the CE ordered for months now from my local Gamestop, so you won't see me buying it, but I can't see this hurting their sales any.

It does show just how little it actually costs for them to digitally distribute a game. They're using a $60 game as a pre-order incentive. Crazy.

So those who pre-order ME3 get a full copy of BF3 for free,but those who pre-ordered BF3 only get an early multiplayer demo of ME3 with access for 2 days.

Eh, I'd prefer just a coupon for Origin, never been a fan of multiplayer shooters outside of TF2. A nice thought I guess, though.

It is unfortunate for those who already have Battlefield 3. For those like me who have waited it's awesome.

After having this same situation happen to me a few times when dealing with the gaming industry I've learned to identify which games I "need immediately" and which ones I don't mind waiting a few months for. I did this with Fallout 3 and was lucky to get the GOTY edition for a third of the cost of what people paid for the game plus all the DLC as it was released.

It's shitty and a practice that bends over the consumer and I'd wish they'd stop but they keep getting away with it so they won't.

EDIT: But I also can't really argue against it since the responsibility of the purchase lies with the consumer. If I buy a new TV and then a few months later that same TV costs $500 less I can't go to Best Buy and ask for $500 back.
