What happened is they had another game that was kind of lost and struggling, so they changed it into "Ghoul Patrol" and called it a sequel to ZAMN in hopes that it would actually sell. It really never was supposed to have anything to do with Zombies Ate My Neighbors.

and it wasn't as fun or good so i ignored it.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, remade fully for the next gen. New skills, weapons, spells, clothes, faces, etc... as well as an Xbox 360 version, that would rock.

Goldeneye (the EMP beam, not the rogue agent)!
A good graphics update, wider areas and redesigned weapons. Plus, the story mode could do with an expansion, and Xenia could be actually difficult to defeat.
And also, I think they should make a Gears of War-style remake of Starship Troopers.
Aside from that, probably a remake of Aliens, although apparently one is on the way.

ALIENS VS PREDATOR 2 for the PC... am I the only one that remembers the greatness of that game? Give me AVP 3 with next-gen graphics!!!

AVP extinction could also be a hit if they made a sequel with a more complex construction tree, skirmish and online mp.

... And yes I am a huge fan of both series.
Agreed, although Extinction has some balancing issues. The fact it takes a body, an Alien Drone, an egg, a Facehugger, half a minute and an upgrade to create one new unit for the Alien team, while it takes several seconds for the Marines and Predators to spawn their units. Aside from that, the Aliens were also vastly underpowered.

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars

Don't get me wrong, I loved Paper Mario and it's possible to say those games were as good as its going to get, but I still cling to hope they remake Mario RPG.

The sequel for my favorite Genesis game was made on the Dreamcast, but I never have gotten a chance to play it...

they should bring back the man, the legend, the max payne... so it'd be stranglehold, but more noir like!

as much as i wanted to say a good old 'retro' classic, everytime they re-release one it turns out shite, like maximo or alter beast

infact scratch that, eternal champions!

Crimson Skies, love flying games and thats the top of my list of all time favorites.
Crimson Skies definitely. But not the lame dumbed down Xbox version. I want a remake of the original PC game

Also Carmageddon is long overdue a remake. Imagine driving through crowds of pedestrians and smashing up your opponents with a modern graphics engine. Awesome.

I agree with TheHound. Master of Magic. Greatest game of all time, and I actually heard recently that someone is at least tacitly talking about doing a remake or sequel.

HalfShadow:
Crusader, Heck yeah.
Isometric stuff may be a thing of the past though, especially now Fallout is going 3d. Then again there's 40K Squad Command (which had me wondering why no one noticed the similarities to Chaos Gate, but ok) which seems to do it quite admirably.

Betty_Swallocks:
Carmageddon... Jolly good fun. Jacky-boy's going to have a fit on that one.

I'd love to see Blood 3, or even a simple remake of the original Blood in a modern engine.

There's the Transfusion project of course, but I'd really like to see what Monolith can do with the universe they created for Blood 1 and the experience gained with Condemned, Fear and Nolf. I kinda miss the wacky madness of that Build Engine gem these days.
