I find it interesting how so many people get up-in-arms about the press allegedly being in collusion with game publishers, and then turn around and treat the press with contempt when it does something that specifically illustrates that it is NOT in collusion with game publishers.
Consider it this way: When the head of the NSA said the agency wasn't conducting widespread spying on Americans and it was later revealed via a major leak that this simply was not true, there was outrage. And while entertainment journalism doesn't deal with things like, say, the wholesale breakdown of personal privacy on a national scale, people either want the truth or they don't.
As for the "press sneak fucks" thing, I think it's hilarious. I love hearing how people really talk when they think nobody's looking.
