Looks intriguing. And Chris Avellone's on it! ...But i'm still dissapointed we won't get to play as Bounty Hunter on an alien planet.
And can we please end with this no-subtitle-nor-number trend. Especially that this "Prey" comes DIRECTLY after previous "Prey" which was also named just "Prey"... see where i coming from here?

A reboot that doesn't even have the bounty hunting that made Prey 2 interesting.
This one will go right into the bottom of my list for now.

With a name like "Morgan" and a the face he shows at the mirror, I had a hard time singling him out as "asian". I didn't noticed his last name in his jacket.

We have to wait and see. At least they didn't changed the setting to generic militarized near future, so that is a plus; but I still don't understand why don't they make it a new IP (yes, I know they are hoping brand awareness and nostalgia drive some of the sales, but I don't think the name "Prey" has that much pull).

But why?

What's the point of rebooting a franchise that had a total of 1 game in it? At that point, couldn't you... just make a whole new franchise? What's the draw for people hoping for either a continuation of Tommy's story, or even the stuff we saw of Prey 2 before it got canceled? It isn't as though people are averse to buying new space based horror shooters - the runaway success of Dead Space 1 proved that much.
