Hmm... Well, if anything, it looks like they tried to keep some of the feel of the free running aspect, but it won't be nearly as interesting in film, it needs to be an interactive thing to really grab people. Also, I believe Yahtzee would find that he'll hate the "romantic" dialogue between the two, I know I do already. It's just quips of perceived wit and shots at each other which will clearly come to a strangely romantic embrace with no actual romance.
i understand he has to build a story but not enough free running in that trailer....it just looks like its going to be a CGI fest of commercial story telling loosely based around the Prince of Persia storyline.
Get a real Persian looking lead not a white guy with spray tan as the lead as well, I'd like authenticity no disrespect to Jake

Watchign that makes me want to play through the games again!
In terms of film i think it will be done very well, but i know i wont be able to help cringe at the game referances such as scenery, characters and moves.

Farah's not in the movie, by name at least. The princess has a different name, and the prince's name is actually spoken, which is irritating though can be partially excused. I'm mad that they didn't get the actor they were trying to get initially (he was actually Persian/Indian/not-white) though the saving grace is that the script writer of Sands of Time wrote the script and the game creator helped in the oversight so it shouldn't suck so much
Why is everyone so damn picky about the movie? This is starting out to be like the discussions for Dragonball: Evolution (Although that movie changed so much with the characters and all so most of it was justifyed).
I mean "They don't look perian" that's no big deal. In most movies they usually have no resemblance from the country their from. Just look at all the american films taking place in france where there are no people actually speaking french.
And the arguments about the story not being AN EXACT COPY FROM THE GAME! Why would you want that? It's a 10 hour game, how are they going to compress the story in a good way into a 2 hour movie? If they did that, it would turn out to be like the Harry Potter movies (Good reception by critics and hates by fans).
