first of all gotta remember there were times when this inet didnt exist. And second of all, there is a plug now and obama holds it, one flip of the switch and everything in cyberspace is gone forever 100% true and for sure so dont deny it that its not like that. And furthermore being a musician is hard, let alone trying to sell your work and not let people rip it off the internet for free. a real fan pays for music, someone who doesnt belongs in jail. no if's and or's or but's. The law has been made world wide, you can not download music for free unless the artist has said so. So since it is just HIS opinion i dont think he was looking for any other opinions. Sure he will prolly lose 20-50% of sales, but the guy is a millionaire already and has nothing to lose because he can simply change his name. so back off and just support his decision. I dont like his music personally, but he is a working person like everyone else and thats just his job.

mmm isn't he a Jehovah's Witness? I recall a friend telling me that a few years ago, my friend is a lapsed (that isn't what they call it) witness (raised in the faith but didn't do something at adulthood to be a full one) himself, and it came up in conversation, apparently Prince does all the things you need to do to be a full member of the fellowship, including "witnessing" or what we call bloody annoying door knocking.
