Yes. Every time. And I am disappointed if the link brings me to a code 403. And I am very disappointed if I see a banned Escapist without a link to a forum (I always assume they must have been a dick in a PM).

Ive always wondered, do you mods ever get berated by people because you banned/suspended someone and they thought it was unfair? Not the people who got suspended, but just random people?
There are the odd time when users complain because they don't see the full picture.
Then there are the odd times when users appeal and get the punishment removed. Which isn't really berating. Just a learning experience.
So not really berated, just some users complaining because they don't know all that is going on. Chances are, if someone has been banned/whatever, it is for a very good reason. Perma-bans are last resorts. If it seems unfair, then you aren't seeing the full picture. Some people complain anyway. Sometimes it is good that they complain, as it means that decisions are looked at, and can be changed.
Anyway, I keep rambling off >.>
I've never been berated for mod decisions. Maybe once, but it was a troll, so... kinda pointless.

Hey you can look at mine! But don't... Nosy people!

OT: Some of the forum admins are complete idiots, one stalked my profile and probated/suspended all of my comments on that day, then when I complained nothing happened, ah nerds with power can't be trusted.
I don't understand... Did you get banned for saying everyone dies but you?

Before I made an account, (I still do, actually) I would always check them. They're usually funny, strange or just generally interesting. I do have to admit though, I've never seen a forum hand out probations like the escapist's (not saying that's a bad thing, it just stands out how any people have "gone on a holiday.")

Yeah, always. Mostly just to get a cheap laugh- it's usually good for one.

But it does help familiarise oneself with the rules. Hell, I only learnt that FIRSTs were illegal by clicking on one of those. Not that I'm a FIRST person, but I wouldn't want to risk my first post becoming a FIRST post and getting me on probation. FIRST.

I have to admit some of the fourm admins are a little power crazy and put you on probation for tiny things when sometime you say really offenive things and nothing happends, its more then confusing

Seems like they will give you probation for almost anything, has a valid opinion...ban him, cant pronounce his name... ban him, disagree with his opinion...ban him...

Eh...mods are still people. They're just using their best judgment. But I understand where you're coming from. Sometimes I don't understand the logic behind it. I've watched people flame others without consequence because they used a linguistic loophole and I've seen people with probations for seemingly head-scratching reasons.

But people are people. I still believe that they're doing the best that they can.

I do, but I try not to, since now and then somebody was put on probation for something that really makes me annoyed.
